Cane here two different days. 1st time they had all the selection of great toasts the offer (avocado, banana, etc) and we loved them. Next time, no toasts so we were disappointed. Still, good coffee both times.Make sure to get those toasts!

They have no business making bread pudding as good as they do. I literally have woken up twice in the past week thinking about how good it was. Do yourself a favor, go grab a slice, bring it home, heat it up, enjoy, and then never stop thinking about how no other bread pudding will even compare to it.

I love the rice porridge. I'd come here just for that comforting bowl but they also have a lot of other delicious bites. My second fave is the egg salad toast. Also, the best chocolate chip cookies in Alameda, which they bake in house.

I had a wonderful experience at Lazy Bird Coffee, easily earning a five-star review. The coffee was amazing, complemented by the friendliest service. Don't leave without trying the dark chocolate bread pudding—it's a game-changer. Highly recommend for any coffee enthusiast!
I came across this bakery that sells malasada. I love how they offer different breakfast options like Congee and baked goods from Ruby King in Oakland. I like their rose lychee and ube latte. I'm definitely a fan!

First off, I like the name! It's a walk up to counter spot, not much seating. It was raining, so the line was out the door and that was a bit uncomfortable. Hubby ordered the Vanilla latte and I ordered the Cortado. The coffee beans are Bicycle brand from Oakland- so great bean. Husband gives a thumbs up "perfect" for vanilla latte. My Cortado was excellent, nice and strong with more coffee flavor than milk. We ordered the veggie croissant. The greens were great! Chipotle sauce is great. The egg was runny, so with each cut you had some yolk spill over.
Iced pandan latte with ube foam hit the spot! Smoked salmon toast and bibingka canele were delicious. Had a few mistakes with our greater order but team was quick to fix/address!

Quality cup of oat matcha latte. Nice matcha flavor and they can sweeten it up ôn request.Crème brûlée donut was definitely.m a highlight! The top is glazed and the crème brûlée filing is creamy, light, & not overly sweet. They also make spam musubis here! Nothing like a warm and fresh musubi in the morning with your warm cup of matcha.Really love their interesting sweet and savory pastries as well as other savory menu items. I have my eye on the tomato burrata next! Though be aware that they change out their food items periodically so the menu stays interesting. There's a bathroom inside and a few tables inside and outside.

$2 sliders are a steal. You can order a ham & cheese or veggie. They only make a small batch per day - so you have to get there early. On the other hand, they tend to get hard after 10 am.The spam masubi & pork sandwich is consistently delicious!Coffee is okay - which is why I dinged a star. I usually get black coffee or vanilla oat milk late.

Best spam musubi in town. My son's favorite snack. He rarely gets it hot and fresh so this is a rare treat on his first day of winter break. They usually have it after 830am. Worth the wait if they haven't put it out yet. Made fresh every morning. Favorite local coffee spot and cafe near my daughter's preschool (Alameda Montessori Children's House). The coffee here is always on point also. Very clean inside with a bathroom in the back.
