Mashaallah started out as a food truck but now has a stall in the food court of Westfield San Francisco. Despite its humble appearance, this small business offered some of the best Pakistani food I've had in the city from its steam table of freshly-prepared meat and vegetable curries. A star dish here (which came recommended by Soleil Ho) was the Lamb Korma, made of super tender, lean, meaty chunks of lamb in a spiced curry. On my combination plate, I also got the Chana Masala (chickpea curry) and the Palak Paneer (cheese cubes in a velvety puréed spinach sauce), served along with rice. Every item was delicately spiced and flavorful without being too salty, and the garnishes of raw onion and cilantro brought out the freshness of the dishes. On the side, I also had an order of Garlic Naan (another star item), which was perfectly soft and chewy and had a wonderful flavor and aroma from the garlic and herbs. Overall, the food here was absolutely delicious, and the owners were so friendly and hospitable too!

Pretty good! Honestly the price is steep. Not a place to come if you're looking for a quick cheap meal. It's a lot of food though and I felt full. The Chana was great. The beef chapli was pretty good! A little chewier than I like but it still was a great portion size and I overall loved the meal. Service was good! The chicken is not breast meat so be aware if you order the grilled chicken. The ambiance is as interesting as you can imagine when you're in the basement of a mall / train station :) I would probably not get this again but I did enjoy it!

This is a restaurant located in a mall food court. There is a large selection and everything seems very fresh. I also really appreciated that there was a picture menu so you could see exactly what was available and what the dishes would look like. My family got a lamb korma combo and a seek kabob combo. The food was super delicious, well seasoned, fresh, decent portions sizes as well. The mall food court seems to be kept up well, lots of seating and relatively clean. From a cost standpoint I think it was pretty on par with the other restaurants in the area and for the quality it was worth it. The gentlemen behind the counter also made some good suggestions. The one issue I had with my purchase was, I paid with credit card and there was a charge of $1.70 for use of a card. There was no signage to explain this and when asked at the counter they just said this is how it is. I think the company should let you know so you can choose if you want to par with card or cash and not find out afterwards, that's not an upfront practice even if most people don't notice or ask.

I had the wonderful pleasure of dining here. The man saw I was hungry and gave me a free sample. It was so incredibly good that I bought a plate. I had half chicken half lamb and the food was very good. While I am not a Muslim the meat is Halal so adherent Muslims can enjoy this wonderful food.

The vegan combo is good. This 5 starts is more for the service and kindness the staff provided!

Surprisingly good for mall food. I debated between their tikka masala or their grilled chicken and went with the grilled chicken rice plate ($17). Huge plate, tons of chicken, spicy sauce and chickpeas. The mango lassi ($6.50) was really refreshing and not at all sweet. Fresh ingredients, herbs & spices. I would definitely come back for lunch!

We were in SF for the day and decided to swing by and try out Mashallah. We ordered the chicken tikka masala, the lamb korma and bangan bharta combo, naan, and samosa chaat. The mango lassi was superb. The food was delicious. Define worth the visit. We'll be back our next time in SF!

I ordered their lamb shank, it came with a rice plating, potatoes and soup. The lamb is absolutely wonderful, being tender, flavorful and floral. The potatoes too are great, steamed and then given a crisp similar to a light hash-brown. My only critique is that the soup, though equally delicious, is served far too hot; to an extent where it burns the tongue. I don't know if it's true, but the atmosphere of the place seems homely and family ran. The person that took my order was as nice as one can be. Overall I recommend this restaurant if you're going to this food court.

We were strolling the streets near Moscone center and thought of trying food options in San Francisco center mall. To our surprise there we found this place. Must say that you have to go there if you are thinking of having “desi food”. Absolutely delicious food, and good portion size. Variety of non-veg and veg options to choose from.Lovely people behind the counter, you can talk in english, hindi or punjabi.

FUCKIN amazing food. Sweet and adorable service. Little hesitant because it's a food court but don't judge by the context. The meat is juicy, tender, and delicious. The lamb kebab is amazing. 11/10 stars.

Woooow! This is the best food I've tried. I ordered lamb shank and mango lassi. The lamb shank came with soup that was so delicious. Great service and friendly atmosphere! Overall I couldn't finish it all, and I'm definitely coming here back!

Was visiting San Fran from NY, and craving for Indian/Pakistani food, when saw the ratings for this place, wondered how is it possible - almost 200 near 5 reviews - so had to give it a try and boy would have regretred if left without trying food here. First of all the lady at the cash (maybe the owner) stopped us from over ordering (who does that) then she recomended lamb shank dish and we also ordered somosa chat - when getting food , she added lamb korma complimentary - each and every one of the dishes were simply amazing ! can’t believe they are in a good court - must try if visiting this area and you are craving for home made halal food for amazing price !

This review after the second visit we just finished the food, it was consistent one of the best south east Asia’s food. After trying lots of Indian food this Pakistani restaurant was surprisingly great and made us fall in love with their meat and chicken. We ordered lamb korma and chicken tikka masala And it was just perfect doneness never dry both lamb and chicken, also the seasoning and the marination were just PERFECT, we didn’t want to write a review until we try their food more than once so we tried the same dish twice and in the second visit we got Nan bread free from the owner. They were nice and friendly and the food deserve 10 out of 10 ??

Whilst in San Francisco with my parents we were craving some home food. I am so glad we discovered this place and gave it a shot. It did not disappoint. Great portion size and amazing flavour in the lab curry! We also had milky desi tea and it hit the spot. I wish them all the success and hope people leave more reviews so others can see how good it is.
