I saw the Google rating and felt I had to speak up. Last been 2 months ago.This is 5 Star slices, perhaps 5+ for the Bay Area which struggles with slice pizza. This is truly a slice house that won't admit it. If you get take out or delivery, it's just good / good+ pizza.Been going for 25+ years across both locations in Alameda. Get a slice.Grab a slice and have fun on Park.
I can’t believe people are downvoted just because its “not authentic New York pizza”. Who cares. I was born and raised in NYC and it’s still great pizza. Fresh, hot, every ingredient well made. I will be back. Thank you guys for family-oriented service and food.

Racist and unorganized. Becareful you may get accused of not paying for your 30$ pizza. Always make sure you get your receipt here. They didn't take my name down or give me a number since they had no customer besides me I thought nothing of it. Next time maybe ask for a receipt instead of accusing someone of stealing. I'm glad I asked for my receipt because since we are latin we get accused of stealing. Now I know to go to The Star of the Park.

I have no idea how this place can be rated at 4 stars! It should be only one star, because the pizza was cold and disgusting.
Love this place. I usually get their slices for a solo lunch, but if I’m feedeing a crowd this is the only pizza spot on the island I’d consider. No frills, but damn good pizza

Pizza is decent, which is saying a lot for a joint on the west coast. The prices can't be beat. You get a 20" cheese pie for under 30$!!! And, the service is fantastic.

Delivery order. First time ordering from this place. Decided to give it a try. Ordered a medium mushroom and olive pizza. Crust was very light and cooked perfectly. Pizza was really lacking with the ammushrooms and they were cut so thin couldn't taste them at all. Disappointed in that. All in all the pizza was good but nothing spectacular. Not sure if it's one I will order again or not...but happy I tried it.

Got this app specifically because of this misogynistic experience, but when I asked for two slices he told me "Oh no, that's too much for you. You can't eat that much. Let me show you how much it is." Then my friend, who was also planning on getting two slices, obviously couldn't anymore after hearing that. The pizza was ok, but they're not getting more business from me or my friend.
