When I visit my dad, we always go for dinner at Otaez. The staff is always friendly and the food is always good. I got the taco salad on this most recent visit and it was really yummy! The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and an outdoor patio for sunny days and warm evenings.

Service was super our waiter forgot his name only guy there. Super attentive and fast. Service Super Great. If you have him you'll have an awesome experience. Their Aguas are great balance with flavor.

The Monday chef is much better than the other chef. I would like to give him more stars if I could but the other chef's food is nowhere near as good.

Food is delicious but be warned, when they put a basket of Chips & Salsa on your table, you will be charged. They won't tell you this up-front.

*sigh* What a disappointment. This restaurant is walking distance from my home and have wanted to give it a try for a while. Last night I finally did. My boyfriend and I walk in and after a minute or so we get a weak acknowledgment and are motioned to sit anywhere. First we look for a table, then realize we also need to find a clean table as majority of available tables are dirty. We try a table in the bar (are never greeted when we walk in) and sit for a couple minutes. After no one comes up to greet us, and we agree the table is too sticky, we move back into main room and settle on a two-top. Someone comes up, asks if we want chips and salsa and takes our drink order. After that it was just a series of waiting for everything forever and watching the servers basically walk around aimlessly. They were watching tv, talking, and moving slowly. It was a frustrating site to watch as I had to wait, or ask, for everything. We got the check and learn that not only did they charge for the chips and salsa ($2.50 I think) but they charged my boyfriend $1.50 extra per item on a 3 item special. Our conclusion was that only ground beef or chicken was an option for each item, and he asked for carne asada. It doesn't even mention any of this on the menu but we did some reading on the menu after we got the check and that's our best guess. Of course we were never told of any of these extra charges. The menus are gross and dirty with beans and other food stuck on or smeared on them. And NOT ONCE DID I SEE ANYONE WIPE A TABLE DOWN. NOT ONCE. Even after watching a waitress pick up items off a dirty table I never saw anyone come wipe the table. Never. Anywhere. It's kind of scary. I would have given them one star but the food was pretty good. I ordered the chicken sopes and they were delicious. The chicken was juicy and the masa was crispy and even the beans and rice were good. Unfortunately it wasn't enough and I won't come back.

I will give a 3 stars because it says that it closes at 8:00pm but if you come by 7:30 they will tell you that it's close. Do they close 30 minutes before it's announced?

We came here last night to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and it was the worst experience. I'll start with the cons. - We had to ask three different waitresses to even find a table. When they did find an open one, they just pointed and said it's over there somewhere. This took a bout five minutes. - After seating ourselves, nobody took our drink order for another five minutes. I think this is because the wait staff is disorganized and doesn't know who waits on which tables. - The wait staff actively avoided walking by our table because they saw us trying to flag them down. One waiter literally took an order next to our table and said he'd come to us right after he took theirs (they also sat down after us) and when he was done taking their order, he simply left. - Our margaritas weren't really margaritas. They had maraschino cherries and orange slices in them. Huh? - When our food finally came, my wife got her food five minutes after my dish came out. Why didn't they just come out together? - The tortilla they used on the tacos were stale. - I ordered a fish fajita. What came out was a tiny piece of fish on a huge bed of onions, mushroom and, bell peppers. For $21, I was robbed. - Nobody came to check on us or even give us water. If they had, we would've gladly told them how terrible everything was. I'm guessing they didn't because they don't want to hear yet another customer complain. Pros: There was a guy loudly singing karaoke up front. It seemed like he was having fun. tldr: Terrible service and the food is a rip off. They can't even get margaritas right...at a Mexican restaurant...on Cinco de Mayo.

I like this restaurant! They give first-rate meals, their menu is nice, The cook in that spot is an expert, I enjoy a lot trying all their dishes. The food is consistently good, the service towards the clients is good. I often go to this place and I was never discontended. I highly recommend it.

I absolutely love the food here. Excellent and consistent. My complaint is with charging me $2.99 for EACH basket of chips the salsa apparently is free refills.I wonder what message management is hoping to convey to a loyal customer?Been coming here for years. Ordered take out during the pandemic, came when outdoor was available and I was still coming when limited indoor became available.$2.99 for chips, no refills?!?No thank you.

I haven't had anything from here other than a breakfast burrito with chorizo. The taste of that burrito warranted a 5 star response. HIGHLY recommend their breakfast burrito. That is all.
