Great service. Good food at a good value. Grab and go selection of food items near the cash register - packaged onigiri, teriyaki, spam musubi, etc. There are tables, but it's mostly a takeout place, which means the atmosphere is like a cheap Asian restaurant.Parking: You'll have to walk at least a block and a half, but more likely 2 blocks.

My favorite poke place in Alameda! Is it amazing…no. But it’s a solid choice.

Abundant use of sauces that overpowers the fish. one sauce just for the fish and another for the whole bowl. It was hard for me to enjoy it. I couldve asked for less sauce, now i know better. The salmon I had was very mushy in texture and that freaked me out so i stopped eating. I like this place years ago.

I love everything I get here! Couteous and helpful staff. Clean and bright and cheery. Onigiri, masubi, and many others are available for grab and go in addition to making your own Poke creation there. I like going here as a treat after Alameda Kaiser usually. Everything is wheelchair accessible too :)

The Lion Bake was absolutely delicious! The mix of sweet and savory was just right. It took roughly 10 minutes for them to serve it but was worth it.

This place is usually really good. Service was great. But several problems with the food made it not a very enjoyable dining experience. It's always disappointing to see the prices go up, now $16.50 for a regular size poke bowl, at the same time the quality goes down.A lot of the brown rice was hard. I'm sure they don't go through as much, so it sits, even on a busy weekend day, but there has to be a way of not serving chunks of congealed and hardened rice from the side of the rice cooker. Some of the salad was bad. I picked a lot of mushy leaves out, and still got two gross bites. And the shallots were apparently over cooked. Lots of tooth hurting hard bits.I hope they turn it around.

Not sure if it’s because we got bowls at the end of the day, but the food was definitely not fresh. Sent me straight to the bathroom after 45 min or so. Should have known something was up with how moist and moldy the place smelled.

This review is only only only for the shaved ice. I was in Hawaii in January and had Hawaiian shaved ice. I have been obsessed to find it here ever since. It's not the staffs fault. But if you are going to advertise that you have shaved ice, please make sure that your machine is for shaved ice not a snow cone The flavors were nice. The texture was not so nice. Especially when you're expecting shaved ice.Maybe just change your menu to Snow cones!

The guy with beanie was horrible and unwelcoming, super RBF and gave 3 pieces of salmon. I walked in and said hello, to a bad attitude worker straight from the beginning, not sure what his problem was. Been going there for a few years now and never had this bad of an experience for over priced poke bowl $18.50

After years, Poke Koma remains my favorite poke place. But it's also, hands down, my favorite place to eat... not just poke, but anything. The fish is always fresh, the rice is just right, the bowls are always full, and the staff has always been polite, helpful, and happy.Other poke places in the area just disappoint when compared to Poke Koma. My only regret is not being able to eat here more often.

Mixed review... 5 stars for food and 1 star for service. Food was delicious. We both had poke bowls and we tried the spicy California onigiri and the spam musubi. The food was fresh and plenty of options for the bowl. Also, we both had large bowls and took half of it to go. The place is clean and with plenty of tables to sit. Service was awful... we were there on 8/12 around 3pm. This review excludes the new kid that was being trained. The other two were rude, rushed us through our order, at one point they even tried telling my husband that he couldn't stand by me and to get back in line. The young lady kept on rolling her eyes anytime we asked a question or said anything. They made our experience very uncomfortable and unpleasant. We will be coming back for the food but we will be making sure those two aren't there before we walk in.

The staff was very helpful with selecting food and mindful of listing ingredients when discussing food sensitivities. Everything was delicious and picturesque. We ate across the street on some benches and had a wonderful time. The space was clean and well lit, if a little small.

Such a bad experience. Tiny plastic bowls and they mash everything down with a plastic top so when you get it you feel like you're eating out of a trash compactor. So gross. Spicy tuna tasted off.Staff stacked up chairs 40 minutes before closing, put water cooler away 30 minutes before closing so no water. Seems they're more In a hurry to get out there than to make sure people get a good experience. And it's crazy expensive for tiny portions.
