Food was excellent. Nigiri was fresh and the soup dumplings were small but excellent. It was a little weird getting food from a robot and having to grab your own napkins, Soy, sauce and little plates.

Ok, let me start by saying the food here is amazing. I've been twice, and both times I got the Special Keisen Don and I was really impressed by the selection of fish and seafood. Everything was so fresh and included yummy specialty items such as hotate, ikura, nishin, fatty tuna, etc. The food is so good that I believe this place deserves better service. The second time I went, there was only one front of house staff who briefly greeted, served us, and seemed to also be preparing the food as well as bussing tables. We ordered our food from a QR code on the table, and it was a bit confusing because all of the orders from the table are combined together on one check. I believe there should be an option for separate checks. It's nice to have the option to order though QR, but honestly nothing really beats old fashioned good service, and this place could really blow up if the service was as good as the food is. I'll be returning for the the food though as long as the quality remains consistent.

The atmosphere was nice, it was a cute quaint little place. No one greeted us or let us know how to order. The QR code and ordering app was great though, letting each group order separately but because we were a big group, there were two QR codes so 2/8 ended up ordering on one QR code and 6/8 ordered on a different code. This caused confusion with the orders and the lady who delivered the food didn't know what any of the rolls were called. There was a hard, big black thing in one of the rolls and the salmon still had some skin on in the Philly roll. The best thing was the wonton in chili oil.

Wow. By far the best experience I've had at any restaurant. While quaint, the food and atmosphere was dynamic. The Chef took time to connect with me. The interior was clean. Inviting. The food danced on my palette. I would give 6 stars. Real people in a real atmosphere with excellent food. Highly recommend.

Sushi was good, couldn't complain. Pretty standard flavors and you get what you pay for. Service was by robot so that was interesting. Not much checking up on you, just provided food and they were on their way. Ambiance was great, had a hipster feel with a lot of good visuals. It's an interesting place to try out and I would go here again. Just beware of at times subpar cooked food. Hit or miss.

The fish was good quality fish and their sushi rolls were pretty good. The price is almost like all other sushi places. It was a to go order so we kinda just picked it up and ate it in the car (but I believe now they have a sit down area for customers). The service wasn't that great. They didn't give us chopsticks, napkins, soy sauce so we had to go back and it took like 5-10minutes for someone to help us. I haven't been back since but I hope to try this place again sometime.

Want to do everything yourself but pay for full service? want to reimburse them for the cost of a stupid idea? well then, come on down, they've been waiting for a s***** like you! we ordered food through a QR code on our phone, never interacting with a human.we got food delivered to us by a robot.we had to get our own silverware and condiments.we had to bus our own table. we had to pay exorbitant prices for our foodthe sushi earned them an extra star. but clearly their business plan was, let's get this $15k robot and get our customers to pay for it so we can just stand around talking all day -- they'll think it's cute. the restaurant is so small. the robot is completely unnecessary - its a gimmick - if everything is self service, the prices should be less not more - $18 for one sushi roll? gimme a break!do your wallet a huge favor and go anywhere else -- spend $50 plus tip for lunch and leave hungry? who did we even tip? the robot?

Freshest sushi I've ever had! Found them on yelp last year when I used to work in Oakland and when I saw the reasonably priced omakase I knew I had to try. Now I take my friends when they visit from out of town. I've also had friends tell me they like their ramen so I'll have to try that as winter approaches. They have a couple of outdoor tables and indoor is decorated nicely. The fish has the most buttery consistency, it literally needs nothing else with it

Yummy yummy yummy. One of the best places for Sushi in Alameda, and don't forget there's three other restaurants(together it's named Saga Kitchen) with it too! My friend and I came in for an amazing early dinner, it was our first time there so the great staff helped us through how it works there. (You sit at your table of choice, order from any of their four menus using the QR code - aka bring a card - and then get whichever amenities and utensils you might need.) You'll get some water too :) Food: First off, if you're usually kind of squeamish about sashimi being fishy, you should try this place. It's really hard to come by prepared sushi as fresh as here! Of course, if you don't want to, there's three other menus haha! After this cute little robot delivered our food to us, I thought one of the maguro maki pieces winked at me, so I ate it! I instantly fell in love with the slight vinegar taste, slight chew of the sushi rice combined with the tug of the seaweed here. It's a great sign when a sushi place pays attention to their most important ingredient! (I might just get some basic makizushi next time because it was that good!) My friend got the Sakura Treasure Box which is good if you prefer a crispy DIY Temaki. Also it's filling! Not only was the Omakase variety top-notch, but the freshness was too! I highly recommend you try it, because for an extremely reasonable price, the chef crafts twelve pieces of premium nigiri for you! All but one of the nigiri absolutely phenomenal! Especially the Uni, it was hands down the most fresh Uni I've ever had - no fishy flavor at all, it was subtle, creamy and sweet!! Sans the salmon(a little chewy and lacking flavor, which I think was problem of the fish and not aburi style but I'm no expert haha!), each piece of nigiri was AMAZING! They all had different textures, flavors and appearances. My favorite was definitely the Uni(sea urchin, top) by the Hotate(scallop, top left), Kinmedai(Alfonsino, by the Hotate!, first time having it and it was soo tender and full of umami) and both pieces of Maguro(Otoro and Chutoro, bottom right Bluefin Tuna, no fishyness, just pure subtle umami). A lot of people prefer salmon to tuna due to their flavor profiles, but if you try Sachi Sushi you'll be reminded of that impeccable subtle-deliciousness that comes with a fresh piece of tuna. I don't think I've had a fresher cut in the US. Plus, the sheer variety was amazing! It all tasted so good! Thank you Chef for serving us! ごちそうさまでした!

Sachi Sushi is inside Saga Kitchen along with other businesses. The first time I tried coming here, they were on their lunch break or something (it was not updated online at the time), so they were closed then I came back on another day with my friend. Parking is street parking, I usually park around the corner on the side street. It is a small, but cute little spot inside. It is nice that they have multiple restaurants (even a boba shop) here because my friend and I were craving different things. I tried their sake maki (I appreciate the sushi chef making it for me even though it was not on the menu) and the sake nigiri. I did to go, so it was packed up in a cute little box for me. The salmon was decent, I wish it tasted a bit more fresh, but at least it did not taste fishy.

The sushi is fine, but seems a bit pricey for what it is — which is more take-out or fast casual than an actual restaurant. Everything is done through a QR code/app or terminal, so there is no way to place an order with a human being. After entering all my info in the app, which was an annoying exercise in thumb tapping when I could have just told a person what I wanted in two seconds (versus entering all my info and payment details into my phone), I got an error message and had to go inside to the kiosk and do it again on that device. I don’t quite get the premise other than it probably saves them money on labor. Those savings aren’t passed along however, so you’re paying what you’d pay at a legit restaurant (if not a high-end one) and effectively getting the take-out experience. It’s unfortunate that they’re going with this new school/ghost kitchen vibe vs. just serving good food at a reasonable price. The location is great.

I feel like I just robbed this place because it was crazy affordable for what I got. True otoro! I havent had real otoro in the bay without paying more than 30$ a piece. It melted in my mouth the way it should, with zero fishy taste. I ordered the 14 piece omakase and the sashimi, plus an extra single otoro nigiri and uni, but both were also included in the omakase. I cant believe that, so generous. I usually share with my cats but I cannot bring myself to do this time because its too good. Everything was cut perfectly, and I will definitely be recommending and returning again.

Cute restaurant! We got take out and most of our sushi was great, only the baked lion king roll was still raw. We were able to bake it at home and it turned out ok. If you like your lion king rolls fully baked you might want to request it specially when you order. Would go again!

I have always been a fan of this place. I ate here since it opened on Lincoln. My frequent orders are the toro roll and the Omakase sashimi set. Over the years, I slowly see the dip in both quality and value. Before, the Omakase fills up the box with thick fresh slices of sashimi. As usual, I ordered my Omakase sashimi again yesterday and I was quite disappointed. The Salmon had a fishy smell which I know is not too fresh. Not only that, the amount of sashimi now given is 2/3 or even 1/2 what was given before. Before, they would also sneak a piece or two of sashimi behind the leaves to prop it up for decoration. Now, they fill up the decoration with shredded daikon. The slices are less thick and were sliding around inside the box due to so much empty space.sa
