The sandwiches here are soo fresh and flavorful. It’s a really spot for quick and delicious lunch. The staff here is soo friendly and sweet. The service is quick. Would definitely go back for the sandwich.

The pastrami and cheese was vary tasty but The portion was for a small child . When I received the sandwich , I thought it was a joke . I am willing to re- visit to see if they were low on Meat . For the price , I was expecting more .

I ordered a falafel sandwich and a cup of soup. It was around $17. Sandwich was lacking as there was hardly any falafel and it was wrapped in a huge tortilla which I ended up throwing away. Soup was in a plastic container (I HATE hot items in plastic) which dumped when I opened it. They need to step up their game if they're going to survive in these hard economic times. I don't eat out much so I am super disappointed.

i found my dream sandwich here! i had trouble deciding what i wanted and the owner recommended EAST MEETS WEST. YALL. you have to be put on to this! coming from a korean household myself, the sandwich reminded me of when my mom put her bulgogi in between bread and waterfront deli's east meets west is the perfected version!! so happy korea can be represented in such a yummy way! !! East Meets West Alameda ??? ... ... East Meets West ~~ !!

It's located on the waterside of a nondescript building filled with small businesses. However, it is worth visiting because it is a pearl in the ocean. The deli has a good selection of sandwiches and salads and even makes a number of sandwiches to meet your breakfast needs. I ordered a turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce. It was a well made sandwich and it was just the right size. I ordered it with chips and a soda. It was a good sandwich but for my tastes, it was a bit dry. We also ordered the Mediterranean Wrap with chicken. This was a fine, well crafted sandwich. Like other delis, they bring your order to your table. However, they do so on a silver platter. No, I do not mean this figuratively but literally. It was a silver platter! No other restaurant that I have ever visited has ever do so. 4 out of 5 because I got a pickle with my tray but others in my party did not. I thought it was an oddity. If you want to sit peacefully by the water, have a perfected sandwich and take a small break from life, seek out the Waterfront Deli. It's located in Alameda, California

First off I want to say is that the people that work there are so incredibly sweet. Service was really quick. The sandwiches were amazing and prices are very reasonable. We got to sit outside and it was such a cute scenery. Watching the boats and the birds. It was a very cute date.

Probably one of the worst turkey clubs I've had. I tried out this place because of all the great reviews but I was better off going to Whole Foods. The bread had so much Mayo it would squeeze out when I tried to take a bite. I ordered online sourdough bread but was given white bread. I would appreciate if businesses moving forward would contact customers if they don't have what they want and ask them if they were okay with a substitution. The turkey tasted very old and dry. The lentil soup was horrible!

Why have I only just discovered this place now? Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s Korean-run and mixes standard deli fare with really wonderful Korean flavors and super high quality ingredients. The East-West sandwich will be on my regular rotation!
