I felt their Sandwiches were a bit over rated, and over priced, 7$ for a relatively crusty baguette roll (expected fresher) also felt the actual baguette roll was TOO BIG for the sandwich, causing the ratio of bread to sandwich components to be off, I like the other nearby locations better, better value and better flavor imho. the Ham also seemed to me to be too fatty.

I’ve never cared much for their super flaky breads n cardboard dry toppings (need sauce n tomatoes). But their prices were p low n toppings were full I visited occasionally when I was nearby to support hardworking people. However after the new year I noticed their prices increase 25-30% n toppings become less too. Also the old woman cashier always had no problem cutting me off (after I called to order 30 mins ago n waited in line for 10 mins to pickup) to call others 1st who ordered after me n didn’t wait in line. Talking about low EQ n disrespectful. This is not the 1st time she done this to me. And she knows exactly what she’s doing. Other customers had no idea how they were being saved 3 mins coz the woman didn’t like me. But it was a very unpleasant experience. Maybe I go back someday when she’s gone. For now there are tons of better places like Hue Thai, Mr Baguette (and I know my food) etc within 3 mile radius. Bye My tho with the mean spirited cashier!

I always pick up the #8 bahn mi and its the best! They always have more meat and vegetables than any other bahn mi place. The meat is flavorful soft and tender. Service is fast pricing is fair couldn't ask for more.

The sandwich was ok and good. The Tai tea is ok. I feel like the Tai tea is missing something. At least it does not taste very sugary. Overall it's ok. Small place and no room to eat in here.

My husband and I try all of the different bánh mì places in San Gabriel Valley. The sandwiches here are a great although I wouldn’t say they’re necessarily the absolute best, they’re definitely top-tier what I really liked with some of the other stuff they offered like the pork meatballs, and some of the other skewer items. It reminds me of the food I ate growing up in Thailand, and I really love the southeast Asian food it’s very authentic and taste great.

DISCLAIMER: I love mom and pop shops. This place is located inside a really small lot. FYI it is a bit hard to find from the street. But if you are around during the day, this place closes pretty early, then stop by. They got some good sammies. I had accidentally stumbled upon them when my regular viet hangout ran out of eggrolls.Let's get down to business.GRILLED PORK SPECIALNow this is a good sandwich. It has some sweet aftertaste but it is definitely delicious. KNOCK OUT! I will always order this sandwich when I have time on a lunch break. They do have jalapenos sometimes they just don't put them in unless you ask for it. I love that the have daikon in their house salad for the sandwiches. A lot of places now have taken them out to lower costs but having only shredded pickled carrots just isn't the same.CHARBROILED BEEFThis is similar to the pork special sandwich however it isn't as tender of a meat. Maybe because it is beef I don't know. It was just a little tough to chow down on at times.EGG ROLLSOne of my favorite things ever. I have an addiction. I will order twenty of these and just munch on them as if they were French fries throughout the day. They always have fresh piping hot ready to eat egg rolls. They do not come with fish sauce so order it if you like to dip like I do. Understand that you aren't getting served in restaurant with the sides of veggies to wrap. You are paying for each one. Go buy some vegetables if you want to wrap.ICE COFFEEThe go to drink is the ice coffee. It is not overly sweet and it definitely has a nice kick to it. Nice pick me up.THAI TEAI am unfortunately not a fan of their thai tea. It isn't really sweet, they have to put some half and half in it or something. I wish it was better.BAGUETTESThey don't have the two foot long crispy baguettes like Mr. Baguette but it isn't bad. Grab some if you want to make some sandwiches during the week.ALL IN ALLCome in and grab something for a quick fix to your Vietnamese food craving if you are around. Just be aware that this place is a really small shop. Sometimes the wait is long sometimes it is super quick but there just isn't a lot of waiting room. So you will have to just wait outside. They will holler for you when order is ready!

I give it four stars for atmosphere because I like the store front, cash-only, take it to go feel of this place. My favorite bahn mi place. Other stuff is good here too, like the cam tho to go and the meat balls on skewers and the the great condiments for sale. I go here usually when I go to my mechanics, Tommy's Shell, and list time I was there I ran into him here. I usually get the steamed meatball or the thit nuong but really I don't think you can go wrong.

Stopped by for a couple of sandwiches today. A couple of tips…bring cash AND there is no place to eat here. Your order will be “to go”.My husband had the beef and said it was good (#9)I had the chicken #4 and the overall taste was fine…the chicken was practically ground so the texture was not great.

Like they say, early bird catches the worm! We were here quite early around 715am and yes even at that time there was a line. The lady in front of me ordered maybe 6-8 sandos, I only wanted two and because of her order I had to wait 15-20 mins, I heard the shop owner call out her number and I thought mine would’ve been ready since I was standing there patiently, I was surprised when I noticed she gave me the bag that was sitting here before the other person w a large order got hers? Why would she do that when my order was ready? How long was it there? Nonetheless, I was disappointed knowing I could’ve been on my way a while ago….Try not to eat the sando in the car because damn crumbs were all over the place! But overall, the flavor and taste of the combo sando was delish, too bad they don’t add jalapenos in them. I prefer their other location but this wasn’t bad since I was already in the area!Lets talk about the sando – Fresh, crunchy and flavorful. All the cold cuts were tasty especially with the house-made egg yolk mayo! Cilantro always brings out the herbaceous freshness, crunch from the cuke, pickled daikon and carrots and the pate pulls all the flavor together.
