Crispy and crunchy. Had the Spicy Crispy Chicken on Bun with onions rings. Sandwich was prepared when we ordered it, making it extra crunchy on the first bite. Extra spicy level was just right, not overbearing, just enough to give it a good kick. Onion rings were lightly breaded and cooked perfectly.

WOW! Best chicken sandwiches & wings ever!!! Honestly I've had a couple items from their menu and it's never disappointed. Idk if it's a Korean fried chicken but seems to be. Funny thing is I found out about this spot from my Quickly boba trip in Chinatown. The workers at quickly were getting it delivered and the name caught my eye so looked it up and we went later that week. I'm so glad I observed it & have the employees at Quickly to thank for a great food place.

Ok the Spicy Chicken Bun Bun Sando is legit my top 5 all time. Was really surprised, its Taiwanese style, batter is super crispy, fresh and that spicy level caught me off guard. Comes with their sauce pickles and cabbage. Originally tried the location in Rowland Heights, which has closed now. Place is clean, with enough sitting. Staff was nice, not very talkative, which i have no quarrels with food is yummy. Pro-Tip: Sando is fried fresh, order ahead and save the wait.

The chicken is good, very juicy and tender, but I don't like the bun, especially it is cold. The dining room is quiet and the preparation time is loooong... We waited like 20 minutes for our order. Almost no service at all, other than the guy who bring out the food ...

Good food, quick service, fair price. Average atmosphere, nothing special, but traditional what you might expect.

Both the crispy chicken bun and chicken tenders are freshly made and taste pretty good. The fries are a bit soggy and not hot enough.

Sandwich tastes amazing! Prepared in about 5-10 minutes and you can really taste the quality of meat and ingredients. Would definitely recommend over other popular chicken sandwich places.

Came here yesterday and today and yesterday at 9:40 and was told they were closed, kinda unfair to those working late on Main who just want to eat something after a late shift /:

We discovered Chicken Bun Bun months ago but I've been sleeping on the review. If you enjoy chicken sandwiches, this spot is a must try. They offer white and dark meat options, as well spicy and non-spicy, so you can enjoy your chicken sandwich however you'd like. I always opt for their dark meat and spicy sandwich, which has gotten spicier and spicier. It hurts so good, especially with how juicy their chicken is. Their cross cross fries are a must and a large portion, just like their sandwich. Highly recommend. Street parking available in front and in the back lot. An online ordering option is also available.

Have been back SEVERAL times, yet I have discovered that they literally make only one order at a time. My coworker and I ordered and I asked how long for one thing (I wanted to take something back to work) and he said five minutes. I ordered at the kiosk and got my order 18 minutes later. Needless to say I was late back to work. So my opinion: if ur taking something to go AND eating in, give them plenty of time to get it ready. Trust me, they'll need it. Otherwise, what we ate and took to go was great as always.

Stopped by here to get a quick snack after school for my kid, the chicken was raw inside! Be careful eating at this place, never again for us!

Excellent, crispy tasty popcorn chicken. It's made fresh so be prepared to wait but it's good!

This is a very good chicken sandwich. The Spicy is actually spicy af. Arguably might be one of the best chicken sandwiches in Alhambra or even LA

Wow! Was very impressed with the taste and crispness of the chicken. The food was fresh, and the portions were very large. We ordered a chicken tender combo and an order of tenders on the side b/c we thought the tenders would be small, but we were wrong. They were juicy, crispy, & filling (we had leftovers). The service was friendly, and the ambiance was welcoming. We also liked that there is a kiosk for self-service/self ordering. Will definitely be back. :)

A great chicken sandwich that stood out from the rest! Perfect crisp, great sauce, and amazing spices! Sometimes chicken sandwich can be too salty (i'm looking at you, big chain that doesn't open on sundays) or comes with slaw that is kinda more like a pickle than a slaw. Sometimes they comes with spices, but the meat gets dry or lack flavor (like another big chain that promises cajun flavor). But chicken bun bun is just perfect. Crisp, not too salty, enough amount of acidic on the slaw, great sauce, and the spices are just amazing! The bun on chicken bun bun is also perfect. It's a bit fluffy, has great bite, and it doesn't stick to the roof of your mouth like lots of fast food buns. I ordered chicken strips (great!), chicken sandwich (amazing!) and shrimp walnut sandwich. The texture and flavor blend of the shrimp walnut is just a joy to bite. On my next visit i might not be able to choose between chicken or shrimp, because both are just amazing. But i do know what i will definitely order on the next visit: the fried chicken quarter leg! The batter are perfectly crunchy, not too salty, and the flavor goes deep into the meats. Don't bother ordering the non spicy though, or else you're missing out on the great spicy flavor. Even the medium spicy is still very mild, so be bold and step up a little.
