I'm literally craving for banh cuon after a month didn't get it. When he served my plate, I thought it was wrong oder but wasn't. I don't care if they gonna raise the price or not, but the portion was horrible, you can tell by the first pic (a month ago) & the second pic (which I just had). It was barely have any meat , literally nothing...and the meat just filled in the middle of the rice paper ??? Also I don't know how much batter they wrap it, so thick and less meat. So disappointed, you should go to somewhere else and paid abt 2buck to get a bowl of Bun bo hue with lots of meat - beef not those sprinkled of pork like that.

They have a sign on the door "no public restroom". Fine. I am a customer. But they don't have a restroom for customers either. I would have gone to the Chinese restaurant across the street because they have a restroom for customers.

Very hard to find Banh Cuon anywhere but SGV and Westminster. I drove here from Northridge. This place was awesome. They finally allow inside dining. The nuoc mam was very good. It didn't taste fishy. There's a citrus element in the ingredients that makes it sweet and savory. The portion was large so I barely finished it.

Street food of Vietnam. The specialty revolves around flour-based sheets, matched with small helpings of pork cake, Vietnamese version of shrimp tempura, ground pork, etc. Fish sauce and chili go well with these dishes. Nothing fancy in this restaurant. No public restrooms here. You'll have to use them ones in the supermarket next door.Parking: Large free parking shared by all the stores in this strip mall layout. Anchor store is the 168 Supermarket so sometimes you may have to park further on CVS' side of the parking lot.

The picture worths a thousand words. My wife and I went to this place after shopping at 168 market. We ordered an egg noodle soup and a plate of banh cuon. When the lady(the mom) brought me the banh cuon, I asked her twice if she really gave the right order because it did not look like banh cuon(see the picture). I am not sure if they know how to make banh cuon or they just scam their customer with an old piece of rice paper wrap around grounded meat. Our bowl of egg noodle soup had pink meat and a lot msg. Also the service is bad. We ordered two cups of cold water but they never served. Please stay away from this place. I just give an 1 for the location convenience …

You want authentic banh cuon? This is the spot! Satisfied every time I get cravings for banh cuon. Their fish sauce is amazing when you add some chili paste and pour it all over the banh cuon + bean sprouts/ cucumbers. The rice noodle is stuffed w/ a good amount of meat which is perfect. Customer service is great here, owners are super friendly. It is a cash only spot so bring cash & the price is cheaper than Tay Ho and tastes way better. Def recommend this spot.

The place is open for take out only, at least when I came. It's best to call in for it so that you don't have to wait. Though it's still pretty fast. They also checked the progress of my order for me during my wait. I got the banh uot tom. It didnt look as stuffed as the sample picture on the menu. There is a big picture menu in the window of the store too. The nuoc mam look like it had some lime in it, which was neat to see.

This place is honestly really great for what it is. When you think in terms of scarcity when it comes to banh cuon places in the sgv, and price as well, this place is the best in the area. The people who work there are always sweet to me and always get me what i need. Is it the best banh cuon I've ever had? No. But like i said l, considering how it's 1 of 2 real banh cuon spots in the SGV it is! Driving down all the way to OC for banh cuon in this economy? I don't think so LOL. This hits the spot for when you're craving! I will say though, the last time I went my shrimp tempura wasn't the crispiest it could have been, but all the other times it was fine. Anyways support this place !!!

This place sucks so much that i don't even know where to begin. Its not that the food was bad. But the service that they gave you is beyond terrible if its not the worst i've seen. When you ask them about something, they always answer the most boring and lack of information that makes you need to ask them multiple times just to understand what they means. Its bad i tell you. If you don't believe me, you can try and see for yourself.

It was easy to order over the phone. I told the staff my ETA and they had it ready by the time I came to pick up. They're cash only, so I had to go to the ATM from the CVS place next door but that was fine (I should know since I'm Asian)! I got 2 orders of "banh ut dac biet" which is a traditional Vietnamese dish that is steamed and rolled crepe topped with herbs, fried shallots, and steamed pork slices. It comes with a fish sauce that ties it all together, and reminds me of childhood because this is what my mom used to often make in the mornings for me. My only complaint is that I wished the portions were bigger as I was expecting more since the word "dac biet" means special. Maybe I'm just greedy lol!
