Background On Visit: Missed having Johnny Rockets food and had this craving for a milkshake. I decided to go on the day of their grand opening Floor Plan: Thought it was okay, but feels kinda uncomfortable sitting at the communal long table next to the line where you order. I get that there isn't much room so they had to maximize the space that they have. Credit Card: They're accepted Restroom: Yes, restroom is available. Parking: A shared parking lot with other business in the back. Ambiance/Decor: Ambiance was alright with 1940's vintage feel. Wasn't born in the 40's, but in the movies it does look kinda sorta like it. There aren't many tables and seats inside, but their are communal tables outside. It would be nice if they would a real jukebox to play some tunes and have the staffers dance like the old location at the Santa Anita mall (The mall is now called, The Shops of Santa Anita. Order Of Operation: 1) Get in line and pay at the register 2) Go to a table, place your number at the table, and wait for a staffer to bring you your food. As for to-go orders, just stand anywhere that has some space to wait for your order. Service: Service was alright for the most part. Felt a little off putting when the staffer behind the register asked if I would like to tip. Food came out at a decent time and the staffer (Jolene) provided more ketchup by drawing a smiley face on the plate. I realized after I finished my meal that they forgot to give me my chocolate milkshake I ordered. I had a hard time finding Jolene to tell her about it that I went to the counter instead and talked to the person at register. Eventually, I got the milkshake. Food Of Choice: I ordered the original double cheeseburger and fries. Thought it was okay. Milkshake was very good. Food For Thought: Wouldn't mind coming back for another chocolate shake when I have a craving for it.

I'm writing this review because I really want this place to succeed but they really need to fix a few kinks before I can give a 5 star review. Let me start by saying that the main chef does his absolute best and the food tastes good when he isn't rush. He seems to be the only one with prior experience. The rest of the staff really needs a sense of urgency, or someone to take the lead because they all fumble around and don't communicate. This place has all the potential to be a great burger spot but the staff needs more training or just more people to help. 1. Greet your customers 2. If you're busy doing something say, "hi I'll be right with you in a minute" 3. Wash your hands when you come from break (yes we saw someone not wash their hands with soap) 4. If you're free to run food, please do. 5. Food safety! If you work in food you should not have THREE INCH NAILS. The girl was making shakes with no gloves and scooping ice cream. They're cute but not when handling food. They're all nice and I can tell they're trying but management needs to come in and help especially on busy days.

Location and Parking- this resturant is CLEANNN. SQUEEKY clean and I loed it! I felt super comfortable dinning in and there's plenty of parking from the lot Service- best thing about this place! the staff was patient and gave good recommendations. they even drew cute ketchup art for us and urged us to scan the code to play music :) Food- my husband devoured his burger and can't wait to get it again. I think he got one with jalapenos? the fries were EXTREMELY fresh (never frozen_ and my favorite part of the meal. it was also a great size for the price we paid. I got the grilled chicken sandwich which was really small (was kinda sad) but at least it tasted good

1st time I been to Jonny Rockets and it's didn't disappoint. I got a bacon cheese burger with tots and it hit the spot. Everything was amazing and cooked to perfection. Service was good too they served us our food. Great atmosphere brings back the 50s diner experience and shout out to hans the manager for the cookie

Our first time ordered takeout for family here, it would be the last time. First ordered onion rings. It's burned dry. Secondly, they missed a sandwich from the order. had to come back and picked up the missing sandwich, the cashier tried to charge for the ranch dressing when asked for one. What! No credit for making another trip back to pick up a sandwich that THEY missed? Not coming back...will stick w shake shack.

I don't write reviews normally but wow the girl at the register was something. They forgot one of my sandwiches so I drove back to pick it up. Faced the cashier who looked like she hated her life. Asked for ranch and she had the audacity to say "we charge" for ranch. After I just drove all the way here to pick up what you guys forgot? Lucky I didn't throw a fit like a Karen. Terrible service okay food.

Great food, been coming to Johnny Rockets since I was a kid. Nothing like the original burger. The food is quality and the service is as well. Easy free parking behind the restaurant and staff is friendly.
