The service makes you feel like you're in prison. From the moment you enter the restaurant to your leaving, the staff act like it's their job to avoid talking or interacting with you.The beef was below-decent due to being frozen. Cooking frozen beef in the hot pot makes it very tough. Also, check your veggies. My bok choy had dirt and a dead bug in it. I even found a live caterpillar (probably dropped out of the veg.) crawling in front of me!

Prepare your taste buds for a wild ride because Nabemono Shabu Shabu is where the party's at! I recently visited this hot pot haven, and let me tell you, it was like stepping into a foodie's dream. Service That's So Good, You'll Wonder If You Entered a Spa:From the moment I walked in, the staff at Nabemono treated me like royalty. The service was so good; I half expected a red carpet to roll out as I made my way to the table. The waitstaff was attentive, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. They even taught me how to shabu shabu like a pro without making me feel like a fish out of water. Veggie Delight - Mostly Washed, All Fresh:Now, let's talk veggies. I'm no botanist, but I know a crisp and fresh vegetable when I see one. Nabemono did not disappoint! The veggies were not only mostly washed but also as fresh as a morning breeze. It's like they plucked those veggies straight from the Garden of Eden and plopped them onto my plate. My carnivore instincts were momentarily put on hold as I devoured the colorful array of veggies. Who knew I could enjoy vegetables this much? Meat So Good, It's Almost a Crime:Let's not forget the star of the show - the meat. I swear, the meat at Nabemono was so good-looking; I almost asked it for its skincare routine. Each slice was like a work of art, marbled to perfection. The cook-it-yourself shabu shabu experience made me feel like a culinary genius, and the result was a mouthwatering masterpiece. I've never had a beefy experience like this before! Cleanliness that Deserves an Oscar:In the world of hot pot, cleanliness is next to deliciousness, and Nabemono nailed it. The place was as spotless as my grandma's Sunday best china. I could eat off the floor, not that I tried, but you get the point. The clean and cozy atmosphere added an extra layer of comfort to the entire dining experience. In conclusion, Nabemono Shabu Shabu is the real deal. With service so good, veggies so fresh, meat so fine, and a cleanliness standard that would put a surgical room to shame, this place is a culinary oasis. So, grab your chopsticks and head over to Nabemono for a shabu-tastic time! Your taste buds will thank you, and your funny bone will be tickled.

There wasn't a wait when I came and the service here was good! The soup base is really good here. I love the spicy pork bone, it didn't taste overly salted. The veggies were sufficient (pumpkin is literally unlimited, how can you go wrong with that?!).What's surprising is their ramen noodles are actually fresh and not like instant ramen noodles. This was a pleasant surprise! We loved the noodles! The downside was the brown rice was not cooked sufficiently and was quite hard, not very good at all. They have a side of green onion, radish, and garlic. Be sure to ask for it because they didn't offer until we asked. The ponzu was tasty and my partner liked the sesame dip.The tofu bites were tasty and the portion was great. I probably wouldn't order again only because I was so full with just the shabu set haha. They ran out of their American chuck option which I was sad about, but the meat quality here is real good.Lastly, the thing that sets them apart from their competition across the street is that they allow for you to take home your leftovers. You can order a side of veggies and then take home your leftover broth. That's a whole meal for another day!! Talk about getting quantity and quality! If you're going as a couple and want the same soup, I'd suggest ordering one large and sharing, it's more cost efficient.Overall, please show Nabemono some love, they deserve it. I'll be back again I'm sure.

I haven't had hot pot in a few years, and I was also craving sukiyaki style flavors. While not true sukiyaki, I saw that Nabemono Shabu Shabu was serving sukiyaki style broth for their hot pots. I also saw they had individual portions instead of a 90 minute all-you-can-eat session. So I decided to come here with my wife.We each got an individual hot pot with prime beef belly. My wife got the house kombu and I got the sukiyaki for broth. For noodles, my wife ordered shirataki noodles and I ordered the glass noodles. The portions are incredibly generous even though we each ordered a small size. They give you unlimited vegetable and broth refills (except for tofu), but it was not necessary for me. We also each got two dipping sauces, a sesame sauce and a ponzu sauce. The sesame sauce went great with the vegetables, and the ponzu sauce was an excellent complement to the beef and the glass noodles. The vegetables were solid. Overall it was a very tasty and warm dish for the winter time, and the restaurant was clean and the staff are super attentive.

It was a cold night so Shabu Shabu sounded great. This place was empty at around 9;10pm on a Thursday night. There was one other table. I ordered the Pork Belly with Brown Rice and the house broth. The broth was very light. It took awhile for my veggies to get soft. The brown rice was not even room temperature. It was cold. I read that service was good here. It was non existent tonight. The 3 staff members were behind me talking. I was out of water, out of sesame sauce and needed napkins. Occasionally someone came by and I got an extra side of veggies (no tofu and mushroom). The meat was good. I've had better. The kobocha squash was so thinly sliced that it disintegrated in my soup. At the end, I tried to fish out the extra piece and found musing the sesame sauce with the soup was quite good. Maybe if I come back, I'll try a different broth. I just don't like spicy.

Although the place was freezing, I can't seem to get enough of this place!! Unlimited veggies (minus mushroom)? Yes please!

I love this place. I get the spicy pork bone. They have a promo right now for $2 Sapporo with a review. Definitely recommend to others.

Best Shabu spot around! The spicy miso broth is so flavorful! Fair prices and speedy service. We will definitely be back!
