We ordered the bun bo hue, egg rolls, and the crawfish/shrimp baked in butter. The crawfish/shrimp dish was heavy, too sweet, and had an almost mashed potato-like texture. We counted maybe 2 bits of crawfish and the rest were super tiny shrimp. The egg rolls also had a somewhat mushy filling that I couldn't identify. They give you a generous amount, but I'd rather be served fewer with a more interesting filling. The bun bo hue was on par with other options out there, at least, and definitely has a kick. It does include pork blood and knuckle, however, so you may want to do a beef substitute if you want something meatier. Times are tough; it seems the gentleman working there was handling 100% of the work and doing the best that he can. I imagine service would suffer if it ever gets crowded, but it was nearly empty when I stopped by, so he makes it work.

After going to the Garvey location, this place pales in comparison. The portions are smaller and they skimp with the veggies in the vermicelli. My mom was upset with the quality of their vermicelli. Won't be coming back.

I got spring roll (comes with 3 pieces, shrimp, BBQ pork, vermicelli & lettuce), Bun Bo Xao (vermicelli with stir fried lemongrass beef), and passion fruit iced tea. Everything was delicious. I added an egg roll ($1 extra) to the vermicelli dish and I loved that egg roll has taro pieces in it. The passion fruit tea was a bit sweet for me but it was pretty good. I also have tried their Bun Rieu (chicken tomato soup with vermicelli, tofu and cravmwat) before and I highly recommend it.

Came to try the Bo Xao fries but they were all out of the aioli by the time we came. They did not recommend the dish without the aioli so we passed on ordering. Appreciated the honesty. The pho was a decent portion. I would say the broth was average - nothing that stood out one way or another. When we came there was only one gentleman working the entire restaurant - taking orders and making the food. I respect the hustle.

Great pho, great broth! At this time, small amount of dining in space. Only one worker doing all of the tasks (cooking, serving, bussing). Will be back for take out

This place has pretty good pho and other noodle soups (bun rieu, bun bo hue) for this area. However I'll caution that, for most times I've eaten here, it has a nauseating wet towel smell permeating the dining area, so I'm knocking off a star for that.

Short of staffs and it took 30' for the food to come out and no one waiting . I'm not sure if they ran out of noodle or something but they barely cooked and little hard. They did give me another bow with softer noodle. Last time only 1 staff and it seemed quicker but now are 2. Plus it felt like it mixed of pork and needs in " bun Bo", Cz the pork seems white and drier.

For Vietnamese food, this is not a bad option. The Bun Bo Hue is very good and has just the right amount of spiciness. The sliced beef in it was tender and the broth was rich. Some restaurants do not give pork knuckle in their bun bo hue, and it is disapointing when that happens. So I am glad that this place includes pork knuckle with it. I prefer their Bun Bo Hue over the Bun Rieu, which was mediocre to me. The soup just tasted of tomatoes and water, not enough crab flavor. The crab meatballs itself weren't very flavorful either. Portions are great, as I find the regular size bowls to be really filling. Spring rolls are always yummy and big pieces. You can't go wrong with ordering these. They come with a creamy peanut sauce.

It was taking too long to get a table and so I left but, the restaurant smelled pretty darn good.

Decided to give this place a try since my friend and I were in the area and didn't want to wait almost 2 hours for dim sum across the street. Once we walked in, we were immediately greeted. It was a pretty small restaurant. The menu was taped on the table. They have pretty good selections. I ordered the regular bun bo hue. It comes with side of veggies. I know that this soup noodle is spicy in general but I didn't expect it to be that spicy! My tolerance for spicy is really low so I wasn't able to drink the soup. Overall, it was a good bowl of noodles. It was flavorful and had different meats. Because it was too spicy for me, I had to drink a lot of water lol. Service was quick. They have restroom for customers to use and it was clean enough. Their prices are decent especially in LA area. Portion was decent as well.

Big dependable delicious hearty bowls of pho every time. Some people in the comments be thinking that $10 for a pho combo is too much (eye roll). If only they knew the labor and efforts that go into making such broth. Plus the regular size is very generous. I'm stuffed by the end of the meal without adding on any apps. Next time, I gotta come back and try the Bun Bo Hue! It looks so good! Also those loaded fries they got on the menu look pretty dang tempting. Bonus: Parking is easy and ample as there's a free public lot in the back. Service was fast and attentive. Restaurant accepts contactless venmo payments.

My go to spot when I'm craving fusion fish tacos. Even though they aren't on the menu during covid, I still come here for the crawfish rice dish, bun bo hue and spring rolls. Tried the pho for the first time last week and it was also top notch. The thai tea here is also really good. Dine in is open for a few tables or you can phone order for pick up. There is street parking and a parking lot around the back. There is a small discount if you pay by cash or venmo!

The best pho gà I’ve had in a long while. The broth is rich and special. I’ve had it many times including today during COVID and the chicken pho is consistently delicious and soothing.
