Came here during their lunch hours. Ordered the bulgogi tofu combo (dumplings tofu soup) and Jana roll (spicy tuna with tempura flakes). Food came out pretty quick and was really tasty. Service was also pretty good. Only down side is that they are located in the same plaza as Costco and parking can be very hard to find. Their lunch menu prices are decent. It wasn't too busy during their lunch hours which is good, not too loud and not too packed. Just found out recently they closed their Alhambra location and they only have one location in LA. This is truly sad! Another business that had to shut down due to inflation and everything else happening. :(

My husband & I love this sushi restaurant. Is one of the sushi restaurant we get to choose our own sashimi vs other Restaurant have a set sashimi that we have no choice. The spider roll is one of our favourite & is delicious. The sashimi meat size are good size. I would come back again

Just visited. I was told that today is the last day. Crazy Sushi is closing and moving to West Covina . Sad that we are losing Koran food restaurant in Alhambra. It will be turning to a parking lot.

Delicious! All the rolls were great and the poke bowl was amazing. I loved the mix of salmon & imitation crab meat in the bowl. Garlic edamame was also delicious. I would totally recommend especially with their buy one get one 50% off specialty rolls specials. The waiters were super attentive and there was not one minute when your water cup was less than half filled.

Came for dinner on a Wednesday night and there was no wait. We ordered a ginseng chicken soup, baked salmon roll, a crunch roll, and 2 types of nigiri sushi (seared yellowtail belly and salmon belly). Everything was delicious, there was buy one get on 50% off the specialty rolls which is nice, and the ginseng chicken soup came with a bowl of rice and banchan! What a pleasant surprise. I think California Rock'n Sushi does some like of partnership with oo kook which is why they have Korean food as an option here. The baked rolls and nigiri sushi were also very very delicious. The fish was a big small, but the sushi was flavorful and fresh nonetheless. There's ample parking in this plaza, restrooms are large and clean, and the service is quick and friendly. Love that this restaurant is in the same plaza as Costco !

I have been coming here for 9 years and got acquainted with the staff. They strived to give great customer service regardless of how busy they are. I talked with the manager tonight, and he shared that they will be closing down as of Dec 5th. Costco bought out the place and will be demolishing to create more parking spaces. They have their ups and downs, but where can you get Japanese and Korean food at the same place? Sad to see this place go.

Been ordering for years. Decide to order two of the same roll. Been ordering 3 days straight. Took it back minute after pick up, accused the customer of eating it. When could have I eaten it on the 1 minute to my car? Gave me some excuse the packer did it right. People do make errors.

This spot has wonderful food and a great ambiance! Our server was super kind and attentive and was able to answer questions we had about dishes on the menu. We had the beef dumpling soup with medium spice, and we ordered the Dragon sushi roll and the Zen sushi roll! The soup and the rolls were amazing! Full of flavor and fresh to order! We ended the night with their tempura green tea ice cream dessert and dang!!! It was sooo delicious! Also, best park, they have a parking lot! Thank you for the wonderful dinner! I will be back!

I was excited to wanting to try out this place I passed by several times; but ended up with disappointment in their service and quality. Walked into the restaurant and not even a "smile" or "joy" in the eyes (due to masks) of the employees, which we can tell if they were happy or not. Got seated with no waiter/waitress coming by to ask for drinks/service. Ordered tuna sushi, ended up with tiny pieces. Dragon roll was okay; and the KC4 chicken combo was a "meh" for me because it was dry and not hot enough (even on the heated plate). Small portions of diced chicken and the tofu soup was a bland and not tasty at all. Don't even ask me about the tea...maybe I shouldn't have expectations?! Nah...I really believe that a smile or joyful courtesy do make a difference for the food to taste better...

I have eaten at this place many times. Always satisfied and loved it's BOGO 50% on sushi/s.

The clam tofu soup had 0 flavor and no spiciness although we ordered mild-- and I mean the soup actually tasted like water. I actually could not believe that they let food out of the kitchen this way. Seafood was not fresh as some of the clams were closed. I don't remember the name of the roll, but we ordered one with spicy tuna inside and tuna outside with crispy onions and a mustard based sauce. The roll was basically drenched in sauce, making the crispy onions soggy. The fish was just not fresh. The bathroom and kitchen were dirty and not well kept. Floor was sticky. Doesn't look like anyone is making an effort to maintain this place. Service was good. Our waiter was very prompt and friendly.

Besides the staff being young and socially awkward which I found very funny and NO AC (106ºf the day I visited) overall staff was polite and brought out the food in less than 20 min (my tables order was large)Their food was tasty, even their plain Philly roll was deliciousClearly understaffed and very busy, still managed to bring out good food and attend my table in a timely manner

This was my First time eating at this location. I really liked the decor and setup of this restaurant. As soon as we sat down they greeted us with waters because it was a super hot day so I appreciated that very much. I still went with a Asahi beer uff they brought it super cold plus with a frozen mug that made it just taste more amazing. Food was delicious and service was fast sushi rolls came out coming one after another. I will definitely come back again I left wanting to try their oyster bar so I'll be going back for that soon
