Rubbish, a completely deceptive store, a shady store, shouldn't oyster omelet be oyster cake? It turns out that 80% of it is cabbage, there is no batter, no eggs, and there are not many oysters. There is no flavor yet. If you don’t want to put the oysters in, forget about it. You can’t put in the pancakes and eggs. If you use cabbage to make up for it, how bad is it?

It’s quite deceptive. I took three bites of the vegetable and meat buns and couldn’t even get a bite of the filling. The stuffing in the fist-sized buns was the size of a coin! There is too little meat and preserved eggs in the preserved egg and lean meat porridge, so I don’t want to give it! It was either fatty meat or shredded ginger. After waiting for a long time, the porridge was actually warm, not scalding! It’s not freshly made at all! It’s not worth the expensive price! Don’t want to come again!

Pan-fried buns are pan-fried and quick-frozen buns, right? They are even made from dough.

The pancake is very oily and the steamed bun was below average. I paid 10% tip for the plain food, but that was not enough. When I was leaving, I was asked to pay 15% at least. Was very rude. Will not come back to this restaurant for sure.

As a Taiwanese this is so disappointing. The pastries were so hard and not really chewable. Nothing I got was good unfortunately...I am hoping that I simply picked the wrong items. Also we got 4 items and it was almost 40 bucks, and portions were small as well.

The server returned my receipt, making me tip more because I only tipped 10% That's just rude and classless, be grateful that I even tipped you considering how mediocre the food was. You used the wrong noodles for beef noodle soup and had minuscule amounts of shrimp in one of your 蝦仁蚵仔煎, it's all cabbage.

It's solid Chinese breakfast. Some of the better savory soy milk I've had in greater LA but I'd say the cruller and other items are average. Found the service to be pleasant but sporadic. Lots of wear and tear in the store itself but they clearly have regulars and it has kind of a cool diner vibe.

I really want to support this place, because their fried dumpling stick is by far the closest to the taiwanese style. The soy milk used to be good too... Until today. The fried dumpling stick was a bit shorter than a month ago, I wasn't going to mention it because the price of natural gas was beyond ridiculous. But the soy milk was diluted down AND tasted burnt and a little weird sour taste, THAT is unacceptable! At first I thought I was thinking too much, but upset stomach, dizziness, and vomiting proofed I was right... So sad. I tried many items in the past year, and the service is good enough compared to many Chinese restaurants.I also like they accept credit card with no purchase restrictions. I only asked to.paid by cash once. They open early in the morning. Parking usually is not a problem, as the parking lot is next to the building. I appreciate the sign on the walkway as I sometimes forgot they closed on Wednesday, so if you don't see the logo sign on the street , that means their closed. All of them tells me they did their best to run this restaurants...but bad food, even just one time, makes it hard for me to recommend it to others (and coming back). It's the basic in food industry... Not to mention I'm ordering the famous + promotion items... 9__9Mix feelings, just mix feelings.....Really want to support this restaurant... and I understand it's a harsh season (not just winter weather but also the economy), but what happened today is unacceptable. my best wishes to the owner and all who works there. Hope you all survive.P.S. I've been coming as much as I can in the past year, and told my friends, family, and coworkers to come here for authentic Taiwanese soy milk and dumplings stick, and a couple of other items in the past year. I thought the word of mouth is the best I could do for this place. ... ... ...*sigh給老闆:YouTube 上有很多影片。臺灣菜(特別是肉燥魯肉之類的)真的不難/很好學。可以讓廣東師傅試試看。( 還會再回來一次試肉圓。加油!)Parking: More street parking on Olive street. Just watch out for street cleaning days (not sure if there's any).

This restaurant has very authentic Taiwanese street food 台湾小吃. It is so delicious and the people are very nice. It has very fast service. I had the oyster omelet, stinky tofu, soybean milk, and pan fried dumplings. Many of the other people in the restaurant were ordering these same dishes and the were really authentic and delicious. Highly recommended.

Food is basic. If you are looking for Chinese breakfast, go to Huge Tree. Fire everything else, plenty options elsewhere. Eating out is expensive these days. This just isn't worth it.
