My favorite thing to order is the dinner chirashi bowl so far it's the best one I've tried. Really fresh taste and a nice variety of options on the bowl

Not impressed. During quarantine we've been trying different places for takeout and delivery and this was a place we decided to support. I don't know how to describe their food(s) except to say it felt like we were given day-old items that had been frozen overnight and reheated, or just poorly cooked. Zero presentation as well, no takeout containers, just foil wrapped. The portions are very small, too. Thumbs down, there are so many other places to try that do much better.

Just dropped $500 on their $225pp omakase menu. Let me tell you, it's not worth it. The dishes and quality were more in line with max $100 omakase. I can see how the ratings dropped to 3.5 stars from their usual 4. If you're going to charge such exuberant prices for omakase, please make sure the quality is in line. I'll make sure to reserve set menus of this price for Michelin starred venues. What a bad taste in my mouth..
We sat down and ordered right away. They brought us miso soup and pickled cabbage and refilled our water. About 30 minutes passed and we hadn't received our orders so asked where order was and asked for it to go. The waiter asked us what we ordered and came back again to ask us what we ordered a second time so clearly our order hadn't been put in. We left without getting our lunch because clearly our order hadn't been put in and we had wasted enough time.

WOW! So pleasantly surprised by my visit here. I had the omakase course and it was comparable to any Beverly Hills omakase courses !!! The freshness of the toro was fantastic ! They actually brought the whole fish fin for us to see ! It was definitely a first for me. They have live lobster sashimi as one of the courses (super special)! The sea snail miso soup was innovative and tasty !!!! I especially appreciated the Miyazaki sukiyaki!!!! Soooooooooooooo delicious !!! Definitely will be coming back ! 10/10 would recommend !!

Toros has some pretty good quality fish. The Toro was by far my favorite, it was MELT in your mouth type of delicious. The wagyu fried rice was good, interesting ingredients including papayas. Side note: the servers are great! They were super helpful and when we noticed one of our beer glasses had a chip after pouring beer into it, they gave us a new glass and a new bottle (:

Toros is expensive. But you get the best of the best in sushi, sashimi and any dish they serve you. Their sashimi is fresher than fresh, and cut about 1 1/2 times thicker than most sushi bars. So quality and generous portions make their food a fair value.
