My family and I tried Wilson's BBQ when he was at the stout house and we loved it! I now follow him on Instagram to see where he will pop up next. The chicken, ribs and tri tip are our favorites and the brisket and pulled pork are really good too. The meats are tender, juicy and full of flavor. I love BBQ when it doesn't need the bbq sauce, though his sauce is good and it compliments beef chicken and pork. Paul is friendly, courteous and cares about his customers. Looking forward to when he is in our area again because we will definitely be there .

AWESOME FOOD!! Nothing like having the food smoked at our location and getting it right off the smoker. This is the first time I have had REAL TEXAS SMOKED BBQ! All of our employees loved the food.

Holy f***! This spot is no joke. Ordered 3 racks of ribs and a brisket for a family gathering. Was skeptical because of the bad reviews about it being rubbery and I did not experience that at all. The meat on its own was so tender and cooked to perfection, then to add the provided bbq sauce to them... it was mouthgasm of flavors. Will definitely be looking out for the next pop up. Highly recommend.

Everyone at our table was glad to be there. Quick and friendly service. The place has an awesome feel to it. I can see why they have a lot of good reviews.

Was looking forward to trying Wilson's BBQ Rib Shack after seeing it on a Los Angeles Black Business list. Reserved a couple meals for the fourth of July 2020 and was excited to try some legit Southern-style BBQ right around the corner in Alhambra. Unfortunately, I was very underwhelmed with the food quality. The brisket, which I was looking forward to the most, was cut into strange chunks (not sliced) and was very dry. The shredded pork also was dry and was not properly shredded. The sides were lackluster: the mac n cheese was dry and the baked beans were also pretty sad (see photos). The staff also forgot a portion of my order; a full rack of ribs (thank goodness I checked before I left) and they also ran out of yams that day. I actually did enjoy the ribs, they were pretty tender and had a nice flavor. If I ever come back, I'll just order full racks and nothing else. Hopefully you guys can continue to improve for the next major holiday!

Normally I drive to the city of Hawthorne to get delicious bbq so I was excited to try this place in my own city. Sadly I'll continue making the drive to Hawthorne. Ordered on 4th of July. The brisket was like rubber and dry. Chicken was so dry even the bbq sauce couldn't help it. Honestly the garlic mash was my favorite part of it all. Tri-tip was my 2nd favorite thing. Really hope I caught them on an off day with all the 5 star reviews but I can't see myself returning for the price I paid.

Loved their St. Louis and baby back ribs! Meat was smokey and tender. Also got the beef ribs- the crust was phenomenal and flavor was perfect!

We ordered half a brisket, baby back ribs, mashed potatoes, and mac n cheese for a Christmas Eve dinner for four, and we were just blown away! Everything was delicious but I have to say these ribs were the best I've ever had-the meat was perfectly tender and flavorful, and came off the bones so smoothly without falling right off. I swear I could eat these ribs every day, they were phenomenal. All in all, I think we've found ourselves a new Christmas tradition-we'll definitely be ordering again next year!!

After reading the Yelp reviews we wanted to try Wilson's BBQ Rib Shack for quite a while but we would miss all the events. We finally decided to place an order for a family birthday dinner. We were not disappointed in anyway. We ordered the mixed meat platter, beef ribs, garlic mashed potatoes, baked beans, mac and cheese, creamed corn and cornbread pancakes. Everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors and amount of smokiness in the meats were perfect. The sauce had a great tanginess and kick that matched the foods very well. All our guests kept raving about the food. I look forward to ordering from Paul again in the future.

This was our second time having Wilson's BBQ and it was still just as amazing! The first time was during NYE when a friend hosted a party, which was immediately memorable. This time we decided on a full on "Ultimate Feast" catering order for our children's birthday BBQ bash. Paul was great in scheduling such a large order and even able to accommodate changes to the menu a week before the event. We were having a mix of adults and lot's of children and Wilson's BBQ was able to satisfy everyone's taste. Our guests were definitely impressed with the food and the amount of it! We had racks of pork spare ribs; which was juicy and well smoked, with a nice crisp char, the Santa Maria Beef Tri-Tip; which was tender and flavorful. However, the BBQ chicken was "out-of-this-world". It had an amazingly smoked flavor throughout and so tender that everyone, including children, had tons of it. We also ordered the Mac and Cheese, Garlic Mash Potatoes, and Paul even threw in a 1/2 tray of his famous BBQ baked beans. Everything had such great flavors and consistent. The Mac and Cheese was sufficiently cheesy, not runny, which went well with the saucy BBQ beans. The Garlic Mash was peppery and garlicky. Finally, the BBQ sauce was the best I had ever tasted, sweet, thick, and a good kick. I am going to add the leftover sauce to everything I eat for days. We were thinking that we needed to order pizza for the kids in case of picky eaters with this "specialized BBQ". However, it was unnecessary as everyone was able to enjoy this impressive menu. Last thing to note: you can tell Paul is a great family guy and tries to accommodate your needs with his family. Even though he couldn't deliver the food to us (his son had a baseball game) he made sure he had someone be available for pickup, on time, with the food hot and ready to go. He even added some extra touches to the whole order. He will definitely be one of our go-to caterers for future gatherings.

Hosted a party for about 50 people. He showed up 45 minutes late, meat was just okay but the Mac and cheese was the absolute worst I've ever had. Dry noodles with barely any sauce/cheese. Really disappointing and a little embarrassing. There were no compliments on the food, that's for sure,
