I had dinner here about 3 weeks ago, ordered lental soup & steak sandwiche. The lental soup was more of a vegetable soup, couple of lental in it. The steak sandwiche had very few pieces of meat with lots of cheese and vegetables covering it. When told the waiter, he offered credit, didn't take his offer and asked for the check, then he disappeared for long ignoring us. Overall, horrible experience, I would never go back!

Somehow our on-line reservation didn't go thru, but the restaurant went over & above to accommodate us, even an additional hummus appetizer. The staff & manager were outstanding. The food was excellent. Even on a VERY busy Saturday night, everything was wonderful. My only complaint was that it noisy. We will definitely go back again.
Again, another example of getting sub par food during these inflationary times -- and at a high cost. I'm sick and tired of being embarrassed when taking friends to places after I've been out of the country for 11 years and paying the price (literally) with scant, cheapskate offerings with a high price tag.I ordered the protein bowl which sounded great in the description. Kebab beef, veggies, avocado, and with rice. I asked for quinoa to replace the rice, and what they gave me was a bowl with 70% grains (quinoa and brown rice, the latter of which I didn't want) and five little pieces of meat and two pieces of grilled broccoli and some onion. That's it. I didn't realize until later that they forgot the avocado.I brought this to the attention of the outdoor host, who while seemingly nice, smiled and wished us a better visit next time. How does this make up for my mini reunion with my grade school teacher? Inexcusable.Stop victimizing consumers with ridiculous money-saving tactics like this. It's bad enough that these days entrees cost anywhere between $15-25 at fusion places like this. We are going through some serious inflation, and experiences like this keep me from going out.

Ok first thing props to our server chuchi, she was wonderful and perfectly balanced between giving us space to enjoy our meal and conversation while also checking in on us in case we needed anything. She’s amazing!They have an outdoor doggo friendly area. The ambience is always amazing, the decor is what I’d expect from a really nice hotel restaurant somewhere on the Mediterranean and the food!!! Yummmm best Bronzino I’ve had in awhile!Bonus points for having not one, but 3 specialty gin cocktails on the menu. Come visit!

This place is FANTASTIC. The quality of the food is brilliant for the price point. It's clean, healthy, fresh and tasty. All the dishes are flavoursome and well put together with a perfect balance between carbs, protein and veg. The portion sizes are also big.The atmosphere is lovely, it feels like an elegant restaurant, where you can have adult conversations and not distracted by the TV or loud music. Wait staff are friendly and attentive.Do not come here if you like oversalted greasy American food.

My sister and I had brunch there after our uncle said he had enjoyed lunch there. He was right. The food was excellent, proper portions, and their service was great. We will definitely return to try some other options that we considered. The menu is very unique

Fennel Kitchen & Bar exceeded our expectations. Our server, Emmanuel (E), was extremely attentive and provided exceptional service. The food was delicious, 11/10! You can really taste the quality & freshness of the ingredients and the chef prepares everything to perfection. Overall great experience and atmosphere. Easily one of the Best dining spots in Aliso Viejo! Looking forward to coming back.

The service was very friendly! They allowed us to move because the wind was picking up a lot and I loved our spot! The drinks were fun and food yummy! I didn't taste any spaghetti squash in my supposed spaghetti squash enchiladas and I felt it was kind of an expensive restaurant for a table in a garden that needed a little refinishing on the wood! But overall loved it and would come back for sure!! ❤️??️
