More like a fast food place than a dining experience. Food was done well the parking was sufficient everything was very clean and the staff was friendly. Every plate I seen looked done well nothing looked over sucked which tends to happen in these type of places. So I would say they’re on the top of the list for this type of a restaurant/food place.

I live near the now displaced fish district in Irvine (thanks, Irvine Co. ??). Because of it, I now have to drive this far! But it's worth the inconvenience. Ask for the fish and chips... you're not going to be disappointed. And of course, order your beer on tap to help the fish swim right in. Cheers!

10/10!!! The food was amazing! We got the poke taco shells, salmon and kale bowl and battered fish tacos and everything was delicious. The Poke was perfectly marinated and the salmon was seasoned so well! Service was quick and the restaurant was clean. Will be back!

delicious & plentiful !! AND they were closing!! thank you!!Updating from three years ago..(food is still delicious im sure, so i thought id go by to support..) But!! When i went in, behind another customer, she was told ok, your order will be coming for you (ie please step aside) stood at the register without acknowledgement or a hello, even after locking eyes, i smiled, she kinda smiled then looked down, then i watched her put her fingers through her side bangs & proceed to touch the open box of food to close it..only to have it left opened and have to touch to the box again to close..i left.

Decided to go here after reading all the great reviews, left feeling very disappointed and scared of getting food poisoning.First the guy behind the counter needs a course of customer service because did not provide a Hello, a thank you or respectful attitude.Second the poke bowl lacked of ingredients, no green onions, no seaweed, no cilantro. The fish was not fresh and it had a weird taste in general, left the poke bowl almost full there.Fish and chips were okay just needed a bunch of salt because they were totally bland.I was excited to try this place over my delicious Pho restaurant, left disappointed, and sad I didn't get Pho instead.

Our friends from Hawaii were visiting and wanted fresh fish at reaonable prices. We hit the jackpot at Fish District. Ali & Ana in front were super friendly & courteous. We could taste how fresh our mahi, ahi, and cod for the fish & chips all were, and Henry cooked them to perfection. The sides - cole slaw, fries, chowder - were delicious, too. The place is very comfortable & clean, inside & out. We'll definitely recommend & return soon.
Rude guy behind the counter, bland chips and fish that tasted like dirty tilapia; poke bowl looked okay but the salmon was definitely not fresh and I hope I don't get sick. Never again!

I’ve been waiting more than 25 minutes for my wrap, there’s almost no one in the restaurant and three employees just talking. I can’t even rate the food as it isn’t here yet. I asked for my money back and they said it would be two minutes more. That was five minutes ago. Go somewhere else.
