The pizza was good and peppino was nice, but then I noticed a tower with a giant ray gun, so peppino ran out, and 15 minutes later the tower exploded and peppino gave my my pizza. 3/5 very good but took too long.

The last of its name. Wish it was bigger inside, but I'll take what I can get. I'm glad to see one of their locations survived.Kid-friendliness: Not a place for running children or parents who parent with electronics.

We are not gourmet experts, just transplants from Albany, NY, where almost every restaurant is Italian. It took us a while to hear about and try the very good local Italian restaurants, and there are several. We keep Peppino's in our plans when we go out for Italian. Ambience...depends how you define it. Physical setting is not great upfront, but the "back room" is pleasant. The ambience is provided by the staff, who to a person are warm, welcoming, funny, and very able. Did I mention funny. Service...intuitive, provides a feeling that, even on a busy evening, you are the only ones there. Food...non of the above would matter if the food did not measure up. It does. From gratis bread, wonderful soup, and a really nice tossed caesar, it got better. Veal piccata rich, flavorful, not overly lemony, with olives etc. Pasta done al dente. Chicken parm super. Deserts good. Nice bottle of chianti reasonably priced. We still go to other places, and will continue to do so, but this is now our basic go to.

This is the greatest part of Orange county. Food, very generous portions, fabulous, delicious tease. As stated, portions are very generous, I now have dinner or lunch. We used to visit back in the 80's, just as good as we remember. Highly recommend, can't go wrong with anything you order

Great food with superb service. Nice menu options, wide variety for all to enjoy.
I was shopping nearby and tried their Pesto Pizza. The pizza itself was pretty mediocre. There didn't seem to be a lot of care put into distribution of the ingredients. Not a bad place, but with how many local options there are I will more than likely not be back.

Everything is excellent! I love the amount of garlic they put in their pastas! I've never had anything here I didn't love! Their bruschetta is amazing and their garlic and olive oil pasta has some much garlic and spices

The sausage ferenzsno is the absolute best thing I've ever tasted. We moved away from the area, but I come back often just to get that.
