I have lived in Rancho Del Mar for 62 years and Canyon Cafe was our regular go to spot at least once a week. Since it has come under new ownership we have eaten there twice via DoorDash and to be honest the prices have skyrocketed while the food quality has tanked. Hopefully this is just a learning curve and the new owners can turn this trend around.

Our go to place for breakfast. It's a well known place here in American canyon. The food is just as great as the service. Update: under new management! They have revamped the interior of the diner as well as showcasing a brand new sign by the roadside! They are also in the process of building an outdoor dining area for the upcoming spring and summer season. A few changes to the old-established menu as well. Here's to looking forward to trying out something new from a familiar place.

When you have fried food for takeout you need to cut some holes in the top of the foam container otherwise the fried food will become soggy. I know that you are trying to make your food business take off. Details matter.
Ordered via uber and the food took a really long (first driver waited for a long time andleft and took a second driver). Food was okay but arrived with no plastic cutlery.
