Haven’t even tasted the beer and I’m already writing the review. The vibes smack you like an 80’s cop movie. Red lights and lots of ambient sound, in a good way. They have pinball machines, bar stools, and lots of tucked away corners with comfy Victorian couches that make this place seem like a place to talk to strangers and be a recluse all at once.I got the Monsters Never Die, which is advertised as a Dank IPA, but was sold to me as a West Coast.Great vibes. Great place.

Solid spot! Good vibes, food, beer and PINBALL!.Didn’t have any food but the menu was good!.I love that the beer is reasonably priced (they have tasty beers for $5 and $6 ) and.the pinball machines are fun to play. $1 per game..Definitely gonna be back with my family and friends….Also, it’s kids friendly.

Went there on a Sunday afternoon. This place has a really cool Asylum theme and the bartenders do their best to make you feel welcomed and valued. The ambience is great and I plan on making this my go to brewery in Anaheim.I highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't already!

Awesome decorations and theme and comfortable, eclectic seating. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. By my count Asylum has 7 coin-op pinball machines and a table-top style frogger game (original cabinet) that I haven't seen in maybe 35 years. It can be a little tricky finding the place (not much in the way of signage) but def worth the search.

This brewery is absolutely fantastic! Love the decor, excellent quality brews for a fair price and the beer tenders are extremely friendly. 10/10

This has got to be Anehiems best kept secret! The ambiance is excellent. The bartender and co owner, Jason, has got to be the most engaging people ive met. The location is moving. The new location will make a great home. While I am sad this brewery is moving, I am excited to see the new location. This brewery is excellent, the flavors are uniquely made, challenging even the most critical brewers. I am a true fan and will follow the continued success of this brewery.

Walked in. Immediately squinted at the harsh red lighting. When my eyes adjusted, there were a few people milling about with beers in their hands, but I sure didn't see anywhere to order. The seating was a mix of stools-around-tables and some mishmash of couches and chairs. The back counter with the taps and menu board that I saw in all of the pictures on google is absolutely gone. The beer options were listed on a sheet of printer paper that was ridiculously hard to read in the dark red light. I wasn't sure who I was supposed to order from, because everyone was drunk-chatting with each other, and no one was wearing any branded apparel that would mark them as someone who worked there. It felt more like I accidentally walked into someone's backyard while they were having a private party than a functioning brewery. What happened to the taps/bar in the back? The brightly lit room? The easy-to-read menu board? The big screen TVs? and the extensive seating I saw all over their social media? All in all, a tremendously disappointing experience. See it before it's gone if you're interested, I guess, because this place really felt like it was circling the drain. I left without ordering anything and went to another brewery, there's no shortage of them in this area and life's too short to deal with whatever Asylum's got going on.

We love coming to Asylum! Jason behind the counter is so fun and loves his job, he recognizes you when you walk in the door just after 2 visits of my boyfriend and I going in a few month timeframe. The service is not only the best, but everyone who is there sitting at the bar with you is nice and friendly and there to have a good night! You not only have the best beer but the best company. This place is the best brewery on La Palma. It's small, with lots of seating with the best decorations!!!

Stumbled upon this place while looking for some different breweries to try in this area. This place did not disappoint! Came here on a Saturday night the owner was very nice and very welcoming, immediately greeted us as we walked in offered us some samples to try. They have a small but great selection of beer including soda flavored seltzer! They play horror movies in the main room overall great experience will definitely come back!

Jason is great host and running his bar! He is very attentive and Reverb is favorite. Had the opportunity to showcase our bbq at Asylum.
