Amongst all the korean fried chicken places I've been to, this one was among the better ones. The seasoning was on point neither too salty or too sweet. The quality of the chicken itself was just regular, so that is probably what prevented this from being higher scored. As an additional note, because they use sugars in the sauces, it doesn't reheat as well as some other places.

Chic-King serves up some seriously delicious Korean fried chicken. We tried their Original, Sweet and Spicy, Cheese Garlic, and Cheese Power flavors, and each one was fantastic. The Original was crispy outside and juicy inside. Sweet and Spicy had just the right kick, while Cheese Garlic was creamy and flavorful. The Cheese Power took things to a whole new level. It was cheesy goodness with a hint of spice. If you love Korean fried chicken, Chic-King is a must-visit spot!

When you are reading reviews of how good this place is, they are underselling you. This place is a gem and should be profiled by someone. The food is fresh, the service is so kind and considerate. The ambience is standard, but seriously you won't care. Get it to go and eat somewhere else or stay, it is amazing! I would recommend getting a side of sauce as you will want to dip at some points. The dumplings were good. Highly recommend for flavor, quality, quantity, and price! You won't be disappointed!!

I'm not a Korean chicken connoisseur, so I didnt know what to expect. Safe to say, I'm now a fan. Perfect crisp on the chicken and once you start munching, you can't stop. Service was great. They don't close the lids on to go orders when you pickup, as to keep them from not steaming in the carton and they remain CRUNCHY. Highly recommend. The only reason they don't have a line out the door is most likely the location. I invite all to pay a visit and support local eateries like this one.
My Anaheim people this is definitely one of the best deep-fried chickens I’ve ever had and it gets even better with a spicy garlic or the sweet and spicy sauce. I have no pictures to share because all I left is bones hands-down A great place to eat quality food. Yeah you wait 15-20 minutes But let me tell you definitely worth it!

Came here to try Korean fried chicken for the first time. I got the Spicy Soy Garlic chicken (not the wings menu item) and it was mostly chopped up bones lmao it had 2 actual pieces with meat on them and the rest was breaded skin or chopped up breaded bones with little to no meat on them. Very upsetting because this would have been a 4 or 5 star rating had this not been the case. Do not spend your hard earned money on bones, opt for the boneless because the sauce was actually really good and very spicy. The breading was very crispy and crunchy. Good service, not a good first impression at all though.

My boyfriend and I have a special place in our hearts for this place. After having all the Korean fried chicken joints in the OC (bbq chicken, koko's, pelicana etc) this is hands down our favorite for the past year. The owner and his wife are always super sweet to us and always offer us something on the house even though we would be more than happy to purchase anything from here! The chicken is sooooo good and tasty, we love getting the cheese powder with extra garlic soy sauce on the side! Highly recommend this place to all Korean fried chicken lovers! Owners if you're reading this, thank you so much for all your kindness and sharing your space with us!

An actual hidden gem of Korean Fried Chicken in an unsuspecting area. I finally got to try it for the first time and it did not disappoint. Ordered through the phone and picked up with no issues. The man behind the counter even left the boxes open so the chicken wouldn't get soggy from the steam of being freshly fried. Very thoughtful and definitely made for delicious chicken to-go. Highly recommend!

I chose this place on a whim when I was searching for a place to grab dinner. Luckily, it exceeded my expectations. I never really write reviews, but I was highly satisfied with the service and food. My friends and I got the medium soy garlic wings & the medium cheese powder chicken. To my surprise, the chicken wings were large and both orders were so juicy! My favorite was the cheese powder flavor because it was addicting, sweet, and very crispy. This is definitely my new favorite Korean fried chicken spot. Additionally, the servers were very friendly and sweet. This is your sign to try this place out. You won't regret it!

So I'm just in the neighborhood for a minute and I see a subway. I pull in to get a crappy sandwich, but I see Chic king. I'm optimistic. It's got to be better than subway. It was great. I had the bone in spicy garlic. And wow the serving was huge. The price was not, and the chicken tasted perfect. The gentleman behind the counter who I suspect to be an owner, was friendly, courteous, and respectful. The restaurant, including the bathroom was clean and was an overall delight to visit. Everything was cooked to perfection, not overly greasy, and it seems like a small family owned joint? I'll be coming back here for my kr fried chicken fix. :) The dumplings were a fun side, and the pickled radishes were perfect.
