Excellent service and delicious food! The ambiance inside is really elegant. I had my children with me, so we got things they would enjoy, but my husband loves the sarmale. We always come here when we visit the area.

Stopped here on the way home from Disneyland. Place feels just like home, the owner and I chatted for a while (awesome guy by the way). Our waiter was super friendly and kind to our kids, since it was Valentine’s Day my wife even got a rose from them. If you’re Romanian and miss home, try this place out. All staff spoke Romanian and it was a great experience.

A group of five had a late dinner. The waiter was wonderful. He provided a platter with a variety of Romanian food (except for the fries lol) for us to sample. It was plenty for us and mouthwatering. Yum! I'll be back.Kid-friendliness: Yes
We visited Dunarea while at a convention. We brought 12 people and they were very accommodating to us. The owner was there and was very friendly and treated us great! We had a great time and the food was delicious!

ROMANIA (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - If it is your first time eating here and you bring a group, you may think about asking the proprietor to guide you in putting together communal plates for appetizers and entrees. The appetizer plate was such a hit that the table asked for more of the same for the next round, letting the host guide the way. Another amazing platter arrived, essential entrees surrounded by piles of mămăligă, the staple of any Romanian diet.
We love the food, authentic romanian food, simple and delicious! The servers are always friendly! Very clean restaurant and bathroom!
