We've been coming here since the 80s.. my kids went to school at Esperanza and have always loved the sandwiches. We've had the pleasure of 3 generations of sandwich makers. Love the homemade dressing. It's always our favorite turkey club, and I especially love the roast beef club.. we don't live local anymore, but whenever we're visiting family, we stop in.. a hidden gem, nothing fancy, just delicious...
I’ve been eating at DW’s for nearly as long as I can remember. I fondly recall riding our bikes to buy Garbage Pail Kids at the liquor store next-door, then going to grab malts, shakes, or ice cream at DW’s back in the mid-1980’s. Their Dagwood #2 is my all-time favorite sandwich. When the former owners sold I was so worried DW’s would change and I’d lose my beloved sandwich shop, but I’m so happy to say that DW’s remains the same, amazing, family-owned small business...read full review
