Great place to get a nice lunch or dinner, I wish they had stores in the Petaluma area. I go when I visit my brother in Southern California.

This review is for the Earl of Sandwich TAVERN. The food is overpriced and nothing that special for its pricing. The service was not great. The server took our parking ticket, but didn’t validate it resulting in a $27 parking charge when exiting downtown Disney. We then called the restaurant asking to speak with the manager. The manager of the earl of sandwich (non-tavern) side took our info stating they would call us but they never did.Overall i will just stick to the regular side in the future .

This restaurant is probably the most reasonably priced sandwich shop in downtown Disney. I have gone there for breakfast before entering Disneyland and sometimes have had Dinner after a full day at Disneyland. I really liked that they make the salads when ordered. We were able to customize it without issue. For the sandwiches, the outside wrapper is clearly marked with a sticker with the name of the sandwich which I appreciate especially if there are several people in the group. The only complaint I had is that the avocado was extremely hard to find in my Chicken Bacon Avocado wrap. Otherwise the food was very tasty.

Went here for some drinks to take a break from disney. Another bartender said this is the place to go with the best bartenders. She wasn't wrong. We have had Gabe two days now and he is great to talk to, attentive and all around just a great guy. He made our disney experience great. We came in 4 separate times to see him. This is a must for people looking for some good drinks and banter. Thank you Gabe!

The food here was delicious. Very affordable for being in disneyland. Also they move the line fast. Almost no wait for your food. Would definitely recommend for a quick meal on the go at disney.

The Conscientious Critique

This location is quite a bit smaller than the one in Disney Springs and smaller than the old location as well. The food quality here has been a tad bit lower than normal lately. Pass by here on a weekly basis and decided to give them a try again. The visit was delayed in the order line with a payment system that went down. So we stood there waiting for a longer than nessesary wait to get our food. Once we received our food, we had to find a seat outside as there were no seats inside, again, unlike the old local and the one in Disney Springs. The sandwiches had a less than aesthetically appealing look to them, but had good flavor profiles. Worth the price point, not at all at $9 a pop. The broccoli cheddar soup was not bad and as I remembered with good amounts of broccoli and had was served hot. The tomato soup on the other hand had more croutons than soup, so that was disappointing for sure. $5 a cup for those….The Miss Vickie jalapeño kettle chips were as they always are, good, but NOT at $2.25 a peice… By piece I mean 10 chips… We decided to partake in a few desert choices they offered for review purposes. Chocolate chip cookies, brownies and the strawberry shortcake cheesecake from bsweet. The chocolate chip cookies were ok, not amazing by any stretch, but good. Not granular and had a decent bite with classic chocolate chip cookie flavor and around $4.50 The brownie bites were the winner here! Moist, chocolaty, flavorful and classic delicious brownie flavor we love. These were $5…. The loser, the strawberry debacle they have for sale. From the looks of it, we had great expectations. From the first bite, you knew this was NOT going to be something you finish. The texture was foamy and not cakey by any means. The strawberry flavor was completely artificial and chemical tasting. A total disaster in your mouth and ruins your tastebuds for some time after you wash down the concoction. When you have multiple people tasting the same item with the same result, you know it’s the product. This disaster was priced the highest at $9 and it added insult to injury…The decor is not anything to write home about, as you would have hoped for in a Disney attraction enviroment. The location is ideal as it is a stones throw from the front gates of both parks. But at this price point, there are better options for your dollar, especially in these times. Sorry, Earl Of Sandwich has been downgraded to a viscount… But at least its not a baron… There is hope for redemption if they can turn it around…I’m not holding breath… More care in their product… Better desert choices that are actually tested for goodness BEFORE overcharging and feeding to customers… Kick up the atmosphere and decor a bit… Don’t rip people off… $2.25 for a bag of chips with 10 chips in it? Really Earl, really? $3.99 for a med fountain drink? Again, really?? $8.99 for chemical cake? A $65 experiment I wouldn’t do again for that price… 3/5 is a fair rating, as most would just give you 1 star and call it a day.

Had the Turkey Club. It was pretty okay. The kids had some of the best chicken tenders I think I've ever seen though. Hot and juicy. The kid's burger was good too but the fries left a little to be desired.

I never understood the hype of Earl of Sandwich when people spoke of it. But after being around fast food for almost a week straight, I just craved a salad. It may not be in the name, but Earl of Sandwich made a wonderful salad. It was filling and reasonably priced too. Returned here twice in a week and on the second trip, I grabbed a wrap. Perfectly made.I just wished the staff wouldn't continuously shout out "Next Guest!!!" Every three seconds even after you are clearly looking at the menu, and even go so far as to say that. They have an outside eating area, but I took my food to go.

The best thing about this place was the ducks at the dining area since the Holiday Turkey sandwich tasted good but felt like a reheated frozen leftover sandwich flavored with Thanksgiving. Apparently a what seemed to be a day old cinnamon bun costs just as much as a full size sandwich. I don't plan on having another scamwich here again.Kid-friendliness: Yes but kids should shareWheelchair accessibility: Yes

Early Sandwich at Downtown Disney offers a delightful selection of gourmet sandwiches, with one particular star in my book: the turkey sandwich. However, be prepared to factor in parking costs when budgeting for your visit.

The workers here hustle ?? we were seated at the bar with Roberto, who is not only tending to the bar but is all over this place tending to guests who mostly all know him by name. Excellent work, everyone.

Absolutely fantastic hot sandwiches that don't break the bank in Downtown Disney. We tried the Italian, Earl's Club, tater tots, chicken chipotle sandwich and chicken noodle soup. Everything hit the spot on a chilly rainy day. The sandwiches were simple but so good. I liked how the bread was soft and each sandwich was cut in half which definitely made it easier to eat. The sandwiches were so good, we even got some to go. They reheat pretty well in the microwave. I only wish they had a shop in NYC!

Had a very frustrating day that involved an EOS employee stealing my girlfriends phone 2/9/24. Phone was left in the restroom connected to the restaurant. We tracked the location to the restaurant and searched for over 1hr. Asked the staff multiple times if any of the employees had found a phone in the bathroom and nothing. At around 3pm that day, the phone location started to move. We had to then leave the park (Disneyland) and follow the phone which left the employee parking lot and travelled to garden grove. We eventually caught up to the employee and approached her in the parking lot of a grocery store and shared that we had tracked the location and asked is she found a phone, to which she claimed to not understand us. The second she drove away with her family, the location started to move...go figure! We then called the police and followed them. When we came to a stop finally we shared that we knew she had the phone, had called the police, and asked for the phone back. At which point she gave the phone back and we left. That same evening I went back to the restaurant and filed a complaint with Alex who was a manager on staff. He was polite and took all the information down and said someone would be in touch, which never happened. What's most upsetting is he shared that the employees know to turn in all found personal items and its apart of procedure. This did not happen. Due to poor character and integrity of a staff member, we lost an afternoon at disneyland. We requested time off of work for this and were looking forward to this day for a long time. This was very upsetting and still days later has us completely bummed out.
