My friend brought me here when they were at the old location and it was delicious... I've gone back twice to their new location in the shopping center, and now it's joined to a bar which is win-win for me... The wings are always on point, the pizza is delicious and the burgers are out of this world. Highly recommend to anyone that loves good vegan junk food!

I've had Healthy Junk a few times now and let me tell you the food is so good, and the service even better! Everyone working there is super relaxed and friendly with positive vibes. I discovered Healthy Junk by accident not knowing they were strictly vegetarian/vegan with NO MEAT (yay!) in their dishes. I've tried the burger, crispy chicken burger, and the super green bowl. Me and my friend agreed our all time fave is the chicken burger, with buffalo sauce on the side. If this is your first time ordering I would recommend the crispy chicken burger with any of their freshly squeezed juices. Another huge plus for this location is their vegan bar next door. You can get food here and take it outside to the bar to enjoy it with a cocktail. They run daily specials and the drinks are yummy and the vibe is very welcoming. Highly recommend this place! Their freshly squeezed green juice is also a good choice

I've eaten at this restaurant many times over the years and it's always great food. The fried chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce is possibly the best vegan chicken sandwich in all of Southern California.

"Healthy" and "junk" can only really go together when you're thinking of plant-based foods, and when it comes to their repertoire of nostalgic American comfort dishes, this place really hit a home run. I was super excited to check out Healthy Junk on my recent trip to Disneyland. When I'm eating out, getting to enjoy the comfort foods of my past but in vegan form is always an exciting treat. Note that this really isn't healthy but is a play on the stereotype that all vegan food can be (which most is!) * Crispy Chick Burger ($15) - one of the best chick'n burgers I've had! Super crispy and flaky coating over the soy patty, with that familiar texture as well. The side of slaw was also a refreshing touch with our massive burger. * Loaded Bunny Fries ($8) - now THIS was the most exciting for me. It's essentially In N' Out animal style fries and everything about it left me wanting more. Sauce was fantastic, grilled onions on top gave it depth, and every crinkly fry was so good. * Mighty Kale ($15) - because even when you indulge in food that's clearly bad for you, a salad needs to come through to save the day. The mighty kale was simply the best - tangy flavors from the peppers and pineapple, with a light vinaigrette over all the kale goodness. Eat your greens! My body may have been screaming afterwards but no regrets - this place packs a serious punch and I'd recommend for any meat eater (or not) to check out. I'd go as far to say that Healthy Junk is one of the best junky vegan spots I've had since going plant based. Can't wait to come back one day for more. Location offers tons of indoor and outdoor seating, so pick and choose. We dined outside on a beautiful sunny Southern California day.

Y'all really need to update your hours. It's very frustrating driving here only to find out it's closed when it's posted on their website and Yelp that they are open. Called multiple times with no answer so I figured it's busy, so I opt to drive there and it's closed. Will not be back.

Drove from LA to both locations and it's closed when it says it's open on yelp and on their website. I also tried to call. Thanks.

Why have a phone line if no one picks up. I called twice and waited for minutes and just crickets. This should be a bare minimum or don't even have a phone line at all.

If I could leave 0, I would. I was super excited for my chicken sandwhich and fries && I hate to leave a bad review for my first time, but I received my food with bugs in it. Yes, BUGS!!!!! When I called the restaurant, the best the lady could do was give me her managers phone number....so disgusting. Doesn't allow me to upload a video otherwise you'd see the bug in the white container jumping around...

I'm not sure if the people here are rude or not happy on what their doing especially the Caucasian girl with long curly hair. I ordered chicken with original rub, but they gave me buffalo wings which my kids don't like the spicy chicken. I asked to change the order and waited again but they gave me vegan chicken instead. I just don't wanna ask again because they give me an annoying attitude. I know it's busy on a Saturday night but please put smile on your face! It really shows in your body language.

I wouldn't come here if you're looking to eat when you're hungry or if you don't wanna spend 20 dollars on a single burger. they got my food wrong after all of that anyways.

Food is good - carrots taste like you plucked them from the yard. Overall Experiences is mediocre. Teriyaki bowl is $14.99. It is served with spring rolls. Teriyaki bowl lacks teriyaki and no type of dipping sauce for the spring roll. Everything is extra. Cashier is a blamer. "I am not sure why they choose to charge customers if I had my way I would give it to you free" she tells me. Extra sauce will cost you a dollar for a small cup. Sauce comes cold to add to your meal that's hot and they have no way of heating it they told me

It's fine. My issue is it's $13 for an okayish burger. I think people lower the bar for vegan burgers, but I know they can be done in a way that's not bitter tasting. I'm pretty sure these are Beyond Meat which most other vegans I know agree doesn't taste as good as the alternatives. It was also kind of overcooked which added to the bitter flavor. Service was fast and polite though.

I've eaten at Healthy Junk several times now. I'm not a vegan, but I still like their food, and oftentimes I'm impressed with how they can make a meat substitute taste similar to the real thing, such as in their burgers. My favorite plate here would be their vegan bone-in "chicken" wings. I don't know what those are made of, but I would eat them on any regular day, because they're just that good. Some of their other meals are just average, but I assume certain people are happy to have a vegan alternative even if it isn't extremely delicious. My one drawback is that, their service can be really slow. And I mean reeeallyy slow--I once waited 30 minutes for my meal to come out, and the place wasn't even busy. If this wasn't an issue then I would've gladly given them five stars

Can't believe this place is so well rated? We had the Philly cheese steak and the Fiesta bowl... The cheese steak had absolutely ZERO flavor or spices. The vegetables in it were the most flavorful thing. I was super disappointed and shocked! I had to add a bunch of salt. It was well cooked otherwise...The fries were very well cooked but no dipping sauce or even salt? Literally not even the tiniest but of salt? What the heck? But my partner's bowl had just veggies, beans and rice. Had to ask to even get the sauce it came with and the employee begrudgingly gave us another one saying "normally we charge extra" despite there being not a drop in the dish we paid for. Even WITH the sauce it was incredibly bland. Seriously thought we caught COVID and lost our sense of taste. The Beet juice was really tasty though!
