Disappointing service and below average food. They really don't have sense of customer service. Upon sitting us all down.. the hostess (Rachelle) kept hurrying us for for everything.. our order of fries took forever to come... a friend asked for water and the hostess questioned her What happened to the glass of what I just brought you; like what the heck who does that? There was hair in my food & I showed her.. she asked what color of hair is it.. I said looks like blonde hair.. she was like it can't be mine.. well I didn't say it was yours.. I am showing you I have hair in my food.. she took the kabob in her hand and started to look at it and the hair flew away.. she goes.. oh it was something but definitely not hair.. Like are you serious with me..? What kind of service is that.. instead of being apologetic about it she didn't even acknowledge the fact that there was a hair in the food. After everyone paid for their food.. again she came over to us ONLY and saying oh we will be closing soon just so you guys know.. While other ppl on the other tables just got there and eating.. totally rude behavior. I am beyond disgusted by their service. This was my first and Ofcourse the last time here.. and definitely not going back again and won't recommend this place either.

The buffet food is good but someone needs to watch and organize the buffet items-- not a huge variety--although they have many meats, but appetizers are not consistent. A small dessert should be offered even candy, cake or cookies, it's a good price still. I recommend it but not the best, they don't offer matzo kheyar or Chirazi salad with the buffet, just plain salad, maybe take off a meat or that stew or the Mexican food chicken and offer better sides! Just an idea. So my suggestion would be remove the stews and keep a soup but add some good looking and tasting sides. They are very boring. Even some fried items would look nice. Again, I only say this for improvement I do love going here.

Today I went with my family to HOK House Of Kabob, and its absolutely the WORST. Found hair on the food!!! And on top of that bugs were flying all over the place especially on food DISGUSTING. The food has been reheated multiple times and not fresh at all. Never going there again, one of the worst experience ever!! I wish I could be able to rate it ZERO stars.

This is absolutely DISGUSTING and unacceptable, insects flying everywhere and found HAIR on the food. No wonder the place is completely empty. Never going again.

Don't let the old building & empty parking lot keep you from coming in. I'm not Persian, so I don't know if something is authentically good or bad, but I fairly enjoyed HOK. As a baseline, I've eaten at Caspian, Peris Restaurant in Hawaiian Gardens, & both Darya's (Orange & Costa Mesa). I prefer Darya's. Haven't been to Caspian in a long time because it's too pricey for my pocketbook. PROS: -Best price for what you get! $10.99 for lunch & $12.99 Dinner. Weekend prices are $12.99 for lunch & $14.99 Dinner. One dish alone with a chicken kabob is already $18 at Darya's. - restaurant is clean, spacious, & can accommodate lots of people. - plenty of parking. - I normally just order the charbroiled chicken kabob wherever I go, so I thought it was tender & juicy if you pick the right pieces. - two different rices were offered & it tasted just like any of the other restaurants & I enjoyed it. - service was also good. The one girl was attentive & frequently walked around to see if anyone needed anything. CONS - charbroiled chicken LOOKED a little heavy handed on the red seasoning. It may be an authentic spice rub, but it has that unnatural look as if food coloring was added & not that natural looking charbroiled chicken cooked at the other Persian restaurants I've experienced. Again, I'm not Persian & am ignorant of their cuisine & this could be a natural rub. - salad looked old with the brown edges. Didn't touch it. - no dessert of any kind. - while I'm glad they offered chicken fajita, it didn't appear to compliment the other dishes well. I'd rather they replace this dish with something like ASH soup (love this soup), borani(?) egg plant dip, or some other dish. - I also did not enjoy their chicken ragu type dish (not sure what it's called). - It's a buffet, so the food is lukewarm when you get it. Nothing is hot except for the soup. - it would be nice if they added some fried items instead of the chicken ragu (don't know exact name) or chicken fajita dish. ** Overall, I enjoyed this place & will definitely be back!

Finally tried their buffet after previously trying their normal menu, and I found with both options the chicken kabob is always very juicy. They have really good selection of kabobs in general, and especially given the price for an all you can eat buffet. Would definitely recommend!

The grilled kabobs here are amazing! Super high quality and flavorful meats! They also have a super affordable buffet!

By far, this is the best Mediterranean and Persian buffet in anaheim and orange county in general . Price is very reasonable and quality of food is great.

Good food at a great price. Good variety of dishes crafted with care and in touch with its cultural sources. No dessert or coffee though. Great ambience and super clean. Feels like a hotel restaurant. I'm sure it'll be a great catering option as well.

So good! Just go and try it for yourself The tadig was on point and all the meat was cooked perfectly. The hostess/waitress was sweet and very attentive to our questions and requests. Definitely coming back with friends!

I've eaten here before and the food and service was good but today I refused to enter after seeing a dear rat in their parking lot. Note to management, check your parking lot.
