What a great place. Did Meal A all you can eat. Angus Beef and Wagu Toro great. Mussels ang egg a must for me. Love the squash and veggies. Only thing I wish they had was Sriracha or Garlic Chili and not just hot chili oil. Wait can be long but can check in on line sometimes you can get an immediate seat at the bar. Worth the wait.

I like this place. I used to enjoy the one in Irvine but it is closed due to the renovation. So I gave a try the one in Anaheim and did not surprise me:).Thank you for the good and fast service.Dietary restrictions: They also have halal options.

Always enjoy coming here for all you can eat shabu shabu. Always get the chicken wings and some rolls for sides. They are popular and busy at peak times. Reminds me to be kind to servers and admire their ability to remember so many things. Fun environment that can get loud and echo depending on how busy it is. Restaurant in general is clean.

I've been to the Irvine location many times years before but this was my first time coming to this Anaheim location! We came Saturday night at about 9:30PM-ish and had to wait about 15-20 mins. But even though we were eating a little later in the night near closing, the staff were still kind, very attentive, and awesome, especially our duo of servers Nathan and Terrance. We've ordered the Special A at $25.99 per person, an amazing value for the the options available on this menu! I ordered a Spicy Curry broth for my shabu, which was quite tasty and had an enjoyable Japanese curry flavor. My favorites on this menu were the Angus Beef and Wagyu Beef Toro, but many of the other meat items on the menu were solid as well. We also ordered many round of their Spicy Tuna Roll, which was also decent for a non-sushi joint. The whole meal was topped off with a little scoop of ice cream; we picked rainbow sherbet for this. As it was AYCE, I was afraid that I would get full quickly off the portions they would give for each item and would not get to try as many of the items I wanted but this was not the case. The items (ramen noodles for instance) came in small, manageable portions that you would definitely be able to clear easy and not weigh you down. Love the lights and vibe at this location and would definitely come back again when I'm in the mood for AYCE Shabu Shabu.

Been coming here for years but just had one of the worst service. After initial order, waited for approximate 30 minutes sitting waiting to order more food, ordered eggs every time and never got any. I get that they are busy but that if still no excuse for this bad of serving.

OMG! The meat was so delicious! The quality of the meat was superior! It just melted in my mouth. It's hard to believe it's all you can eat! I think meat quality was the best among all other shabu shabu restaurant. Plus I love their AYCE menu included sushi too. Service was really nice. Our waitier was so nice and quick. During waiting time, we spend our waiting time roaming around near by store so it was all good.

I went here the other day for dinner for AYCE.Minimum wait time, granted I ate alone. The prices are very fair for the options you get. Meat options were delicious, I love the wagyu beef toro, kobe beef round and the short ribs. My go to. If you like a little kick to your broth, I really like the spicy tomato broth. Esther was my server that night. She's friendly, has great customer service skills and has great memory; I had ordered a bunch of meats and she didn't have to write it down. Super fast service. By the time I knew it, she had laid at least 6-7 plates on a single arm and to my table. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and had really good recommendations. She made eating alone not so lonely. Overall I had a really good experience here and would come here again. 10/10

Food was good....meats and vegetables are fresh and the prices are still affordable. The menu is provided with QR scan on the seat behind you. The service started out good until near near the middle and the end of 90 mins eating rules. The restaurant is okay, not big and it can gets crowded around dinner time. So to me I would recommend to join the waitlist on Yelp. There are plenty of parking spaces. All the people in your party must be present to be seated. Anyways, I have been to this place many times. One of my favorites place for shabu shabu. I have always bragged, recommended, and introduced friends and whoever asked which place is good to eat in the area......I wanted everyone to try this place because I had good experiences with the service and the food in the past. However, tonight was a disappointment and embarrassed me on how the service turned out. The items didn't brought out the first and second times I asked. Not sure on purpose or what. He wrote them down and still missed? Also one of my friends asked if he can have another complimentary ice cream and our waiter already told us okay. And then, after a long wait, another waiter/staff came to our table told straight to my friend's face that "ice cream is not all you can eat"...... Uh, we all know that! But he really like the coffee flavor ice cream, so he was politely asked if he can have one more. I don't think it would worth much. And he told us that our 90 mins is up. But we all know and timed ourselves already. We already paid and everything. Just sat and enjoy the complimentary dessert a bit, since we still have 5 mins left. Our waiter took awhile to bring out the orders and didn't fulfill the orders and my friends have to asked more than twice or three times for the items. Overall, it is an all you can eat place.....should provide the items when customers called and still wanted to eat! Also no one came and told us "it's almost 90 mins, are there anything else you need?"

The food was so yummy here and the service was great! Our server Eli took really good care of us and made the experience worthwhile! Definitely recommend him as your server :D

This was my first time here and my group of 4 had to wait around 30 minutes on a Sunday evening. That was fine though, for there are plenty of shops nearby (Daiso, Ranch 99) to wander before you eat. When it came to ordering, it's quite fun.We all had the AYCE #1 (All you can eat) menu. We ordered: beef toro slices, pork belly, fish balls, shrimp balls, kalgooksoo noodles (knife cut), California roll, spicy tuna roll, cucumber roll. All participants of the AYCE package get a vegetable bowl that has napa cabbage, enoki mushroom, kale, spinach, kabocha squash, and carrot. Highlights were the broth, pork belly, fish balls, cucumber roll (for more veggies although you could order another vegetable bowl), and the dipping sauces. My partner and I had just come from Disneyland so we were all dessertted out, but our friends had ice cream and enjoyed that as well!Overall, the experience and dining environment was clean and nice.

Just amazing all around. So many delicious broths to choose from and great selections of meat. Amazing service, frequent friendly check ins to ask if anything else is needed. Staff are superb. The flavors are robust! I just can’t get over this place, and it’s AYCE!

A family relative has been raving about House of Shabu Shabu for the price point, though we did come to find it raised about $5 per person within the past several months. Still a cheaper price point than most AYCE hot pot eateries at $26.99 pp for set A.Arrived a couple minutes before opening and there were two other parties ahead of us waiting as well. We were seated immediately once opened and happy we beat the crowd - within 45 minutes, there was a wait to be seated so come early if you want to avoid waiting. The food quality was just subpar. Initially, we were very happy with our first round of toro as it was a perfect balance of meat to fat ratio. However, our second round was complete trash - about 80% of the piece was all fat and very unappetizing so we mainly stuck to the Angus beef. The goma sauce was also thick and not very flavored with the sesame taste. Service was a bit slow in terms of ordering additional items and the length of time getting our items after ordering. Overall, not very impressed with the food quality but if you're looking for a lower price point, this might be it.Upon entering, we did notice the restaurant uses filtered water through a system instead of tap which was pretty neat as you don't see that often.Open parking lot shared amongst other tenants like 85 degrees, 99 Ranch, etc. No issues with parking, even during peak.
