There is a complex (very satisfactory) feeling when you bite into a perfect croissant, made with real butter... like the ones on the great Parisian viennoisieries ... No need to travel abroad, LIT cafe has the BEST french baked goods of OC, hands down. Croissants? YES!!! That includes pan au chocolat (or chocolatine, if you know what I am talking about) Kouign Amann? Of course, how it should be done. Perfect. (And by perfect, I mean they know how to salt the sugar) Canele de Bordeaux? Guess what? Perfect, as they are done in France. After chatting with one of the chefs, the reason is obvious ... great training and experience. LIT Cafe is a gem in Orange County, a gem worth visiting over and over.

Omgggg my bf and I absolutely LOVE this place! Their lunch specials are awesome & the food is always amazing, fresh and delicious! Everything here is made in house from scratch, so don’t expect instantaneous junk food. Great food takes time people. The desserts are so tasty as well! The couple that owns this place is the literally the sweetest, and they clearly love what they do. Make sure you give this gem of a restaurant a try because if you don’t, you’re missing out big time.

A hidden gem! The food tasted outstanding. I haven't had a loco moco in years (brought me back to my moms cooking). The service was excellent (very kind and very fast). They even brought water for my dog!

We came here because we weren't allowed to go into the hospital and we needed a place to hang out... thank god this place was here... the food was excellent but what I really enjoyed was their heath bar cookies... the best cookie I've ever eaten! If I ever get a chance to go there again I will buy all of them again... so if you go there and the Heath Bar Cookies are gone... I apologize in advance... thanks LIT for making my favorite cookies ever!

Great place right by my house. Super duper clean. Delicious food and service with a smile. Their pastry selection is enough to make my gain 10 lbs. they have more than just coffee and brunch. They even have Loco Moco and home made Japanese curry. Great place for lunch, dinner or a tasty pastry. Definitely coming back here again!!!

Stopped in here to get some hangover cure food, and I was not disappointed. For a paltry $10 I got what can easily claim the title of best breakfast burrito in Orange County! The service is great, the food is better. It feels as though the food is prepared with care, 10/10 would eat here every day if I lived or worked nearby. I would post a picture of the burrito, but I demolished it's ultimate deliciousness before the thought even occurred to me.

Stopped by for lunch at this tiny gem today. Had the tuna melt at the recommendation of the staff and a cup of coffee. Food is made to order and tastes like it. Nice menu variety for breakfast and brunch and lunch and the coffee is great as well. Inside or outside most highly recommend without any reservations at all. Staff is exceedingly nice as a bonus. Help this small business out if you like great food fair prices nice portions and the friendliest staff around.

Stopped here for lunch had tuna melt and coffee. Food is made to order and is delicious as was the coffee. Nice expansive menu for breakfast brunch or lunch and the coffee is delicious as well. Friendliest staff around and has nice patio for eating outside. Highly recommend.
This is by far in my opinion the best loco moco in town with out a doubt! And that potato salad is fire!! I don't leave reviews ever but this was to good not to give credit!!!

Place is clean, food is delicious. However for the past 30 mins that I’ve been sitting here waiting for my food I could hear yelling in the kitchen. One of the works was verbally assaulting the helper. Insulting her and getting in her face. After 30 mins of seeing and hearing all that I had to say something. I walked to the counter and I told the guy he needed to calm down. He walked to the back and you could hear loud noises like things being thrown and him screaming. I will not be returning! It was my first and last time there!

Good. GRAVY. LIT Cafe OC’s pastries are mind-boggingly delicious, creative, gourmet, fun, and innovative! My friends and I were blown away by the very first bite—no kidding. Thank You Coffee in Anaheim (another must-visit spot) features some of LIT’s baked goods in their store, and sitting there w my TYC coffee and LIT pastries felt like a little slice of heaven.

I just had a really good experience here. loco moco- great flavors. The pickles here are amazing- probably one of my favorite yet. They have this pleasant sweetness to it. The vinegar they used for their pickles was amazing. pork curry special - The pork was amazing. One of the best I've had and the veggies were perfectly cooked. I had to ask how they cooked this dish. breakfast burrito - the bacon was quality. The egg. It was cooked ommuri rice egg style. They didn't just throw in whatever ingredients. Such intentional thoughtful cooking. I wasn't super impressed with the almond croissant though. Quality ingredients with good technique and thoughtful creativity and affordable. I'd definitely go here.
