I just had one of the worst meatball sandwiches I have ever eaten. One of the meatballs was as hard as a rock. I love Papa Pilos food, but this was not a good sandwich

I can only conclude that one of two things are true, either they don't care or aren't competent. Zero out of four on the dishes we ordered. By egregiousness 1. Avocado Chicken Salad - the avocado was so under ripe, al dente is generous in it's description. The con either knew and didn't care or if they didn't realize it, I'm concerned about their kitchen in either scenario. 2. Meat calzone - very little flavor, bland marinara. Requested no Canadian bacon, still had the Canadian bacon. Fine, but wish they had communicated they couldn't accommodate that 3. Chicken ranch sandwich - bland, very little chicken 4. Prosciutto arugula pizza (10") - unremarkable, the prosciutto was thick cut like bacon which I've never encountered.

Hire people that know how to answer the phone. Called at 11:00 AM. I woke up the girl on the phone. She said "We just opened." On hold for two minutes. Pizza I ordered looks like Celeste Frozen Pizza. Last time pizza from here was crazy good! Get some consistency. Girl from this morning needs serious people skills. The girl that answered phone today is costing your business serious money. In this time of pandemic, hire better. Most businesses especially restaurants need staff. .

Reviews look good but they can't honor a simple of on the weekend. Waited two hours for delivery. Received a receipt. Callled after 2 hours after confirmation. Said order never received by shop. This is rediulous. Never again. Terrible customer service and sheer disregard for The customer. So sad to see companies like this still survive.

I ordered 2 dinners. The driver forgot my salad so I called back. The girl said she would have the driver bring it back. One hour no show. I called back and was told that both drivers weren't there so maybe that had it but then she replied look the salad was free that it came with the dinner so I didn't pay for it. Customer service pathetic. I explained I paid a lot for this dinner it wasn't free. No supervisor there and the manager was in the Long Beach location. When I called the manager he was to busy to talk. I left my info but no reply. This place is a joke. Don't waste your money even the taste of their food is not worth this trouble. I will not return....good luck to you if you do

Wings tasted like tap water. Not sure if they boil them or if it's the defrosting. Pizza isn't too bad but tap water wings are nasty.

Horrible! First of all, this is also a front for a loud kitchen called "Lettuce Romaine Friends". The corny name should've been my first red flag. I ordered a pick up order from Uber eats. I got the Caesar salad, the bread sticks and the garlic cheese bread. I arrive after 9 minutes when the app said it would be ready in 10-20 minutes. I called the number on the app to confirm it was the same as Papa Pilos pizza, the girl said yes. I asked if my order was ready yet. She said "it's only been 9 minutes." I was like yes, I know, the app says it'll be ready in 10. She said ok it needs 5 minutes. Soon as I hang up the app says it's ready. I wait 5 more minutes in the car. I go inside and ask again, she said 5 minutes. I wait on the bench next to the register for 10 more minutes. Nothing. Finally I get up to ask about my order, she goes to the kitchen grabs it and places it on the counter. Like thanks? You should've brought it out soon as it was ready but ok. I get home and my salad is missing! Wow. I drive all the way back for it after calling and informing them it was missing. During the call she insisted that she "gave it to the driver". I told her no, it was a pick up order and you did not give it to me. When I arrived it was just on the counter. As for the food? Horrible. The salad had grated dry Parmesan cheese instead of fresh Parmesan. Why? A Caesar salad is literally four things. How do you mess that up? The lettuce is kind of old looking as well. The bread sticks are literally just oil on that cheap mini French bread cut in half. The cheese bread is on the same cheap bread with way too much cheese, barely melted on top. It's two large pieces of bread. In the picture it's cut into small single serving pieces and it's actually toasted properly. Worst experience ever. Will never order from Lettuce Romaine Friends or Papa Pilo's ever again. Bad customer service, bad food and overpriced.
Love the pizza here!! Yummy everything! We usually get the extra large peperoni for $13.99 and the huge Antipasto Salad. Never disappointed in their service or food.

I've ordered delivery from Papa Pilo's a few times, and it's been consistently good both pre-pandemic and during these Covid times. The food always arrives hot and ready to eat, and I've never had any issues with the quality. Most importantly, the food is always delicious! My favorite appetizer is the garlic bread, it's loaded with garlic flavor, so if you are a garlic lover, then I guarantee you'll like it. As for the pizza, the no name pizza is my absolute favorite. It's such a unique offering that I haven't seen from other pizza places. It has spicy alfredo sauce, fresh spinach, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, red onions, black olives, fresh garlic, mozzarella and feta cheese. I get it without the olives, and it's still packed with flavor. I really recommend ordering from here for the pizza alone.

I love their pizza! It's even better when you heat the pizza in the oven a day after! Crust is thick and crispy! Super cheesy! However I've ordered take out and specifically ask for ranch bc I can't have pizza without ranch and they forgot it! So not that organized I would order take out and remind them on any special request
