The hostess could have been more friendlier. Wait staff very pleasant and knowledgeable. Excellent DJ! I made the reservation well in advance. Would have appreciated a better table with an unblocked view. I would go again.
The food was good, the see ice was great. It was expensive so for me it was a once a year deal. There was a DJ, but we couldn't hold a conversation. Couldn't do this regularly. I likely wouldn't do it again.

I had a free night alone so I wanted to lounge somewhere where I could also work. I found Rise Rooftop was about a mile from where I stayed, so I decided to check it out. The Westin, where it's located, is beautiful upon entry. Lots of areas to lounge and work at, even the lobby bar was beautiful. I had to persist in my mission to the rooftop bar though! Once I arrived, they had just opened minutes ago, but their tables were fully booked for the night. Only the bar had open seating, which I luckily grabbed right away! The bartenders were very nice and accommodating, and even served up some friendly conversation. I ordered an espresso martini, which they took the initiative to put in a cocktail glass instead of a martini glass due to high winds potentially tipping it over. I also ordered ahi tuna nachos. These were absolutely delicious!! The chips had the Asian shrimp chip texture (it was not shrimp chips though) The pricing was a bit high, but the portion was enough for 2-4 people. The view of Disneyland was awesome!! I stayed until the fireworks, which everyone gathered around to see. Felt like a party with strangers! 10/10 would go if you want a good vibey place.

Very average food for above average price. There was just nothing special about anything other than the view. We tried the queso, poke nachos and a few pizzas. The Queso Fundido tasted more like watered down egg dip. Drinks were all delicious. Our service was fair for how busy it was. Not special enough to make me want to go back.

I have only been here twice and this second visit I had to make a review . First of all PLEASE thank our server Michaela (sorry if I spelled her name wrong) but she went above and beyond to make our night amazing!!! My friend was celebrating her birthday and we brought a cake and she was super kind to put it in the fridge for us and gave us plates and a knife when we were ready to celebrate. She checked with us throughout the night to see if we needed anything, always with a smile on her face and was super kind and thoughtful; we couldn't have asked for a better server . Thank you for even giving us a slice of birthday cake with a sign for my friend, she appreciated it a lot. The food was exceptional and was really affordable . Our group of 5 shared a pizza, sourdough, and poke nachos! All the food was wonderful and sooo fresh. The portions were very generous! The sourdough was crisp with a delicious spread and the poke nachos were just spectacular. And the pizza you just HAVE to try because it was so amazing I can't describe how good gigs on pizza is at rise...it was a wonderful surprise because that creation was delicious. Trust your severs when they recommend dishes because all of these including that pizza with figs were truly fantastic! And we enjoyed the view as we were seated at the lounge chairs at the far end near the bar/walkway to the restroom. The two heaters made us very toasty and warm and it was really nice because this area wasn't as dim as the other area I sat in on a previous visit. PLUS the music was such a nice touch! It felt like a classy party and it wasn't too loud that we couldn't talk to each other . We even saw another table get up and dance the rest of the night. Really wish it wasn't cloudy so we could have seen fireworks but maybe next trip. Not to mention the one who brought us our drinks was so kind as well. Let me tell you when I say WE LOVED OUR NIGHT AT RISE!! It was so clean, fun, and just beyond our expectations. The food was amazing, staff was helpful and wonderful, and the ambiance was just wow no other words to describe . We appreciate such kind mannered staff thank you rise lounge for training such exemplary employees to help make our night wonderful! We appreciated this and enjoyed this experience. We can't wait to visit again!
My gf and I had dinner for the first time at Rise and it's officially our go to spot! The DJ was Poppin!!! The drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was exactly what we both like! It's loud so you don't feel like you're talking too loudly or hearing other convos. Great place I hope it stays a secret ?

Booked this reservation in advance for an anniversary dinner. Partner and I were really excited to dine with a view of the fireworks at Disneyland. Reservation was set for 9pm and confirmed through text earlier that morning. Received a call an hour and a half before my reservation that the restaurant was closing due to weather. Anytime weather is an issue the fireworks show is cancelled...How can it be that Disneyland fireworks are still on schedule, yet you're closing due to "weather". Pro tip: Do NOT book this place if you are coming down for a special event, its operation is clearly not reliable. Person over the phone asked if I wanted to reschedule, NOPE. Weather was 63 degrees at night, with no rain by the way.

Overall it was a great experience and I understand that this also has to do with location, but it was a bit too over priced for our liking. Service was great, views were amazing, menu was limited and higher than we thought it should be for what was offered.

Love this place! Really great for large groups. I celebrated my birthday with about 10 of my friends and the service, food and drinks were outstanding. Had our reservation at 6:30 and stayed to see the Disneyland fireworks. So awesome. Highly recommend!
