Sumak Peruvian Restaurant is in the same plaza as northgate and el pollo loco. The restaurant was a bit hard to find because the name of it was not in the front. I had the shrimp limo saltado for lunch today and I would not recommend it. The sauce of the lomo saltado was underwhelming. It was lacking flavor and the consistency of the sauce was very runny. The rice was decent but the fries were soggy. At its price point, I was expecting a bigger portion and a higher quality dish. The green sauce on the side was also mediocre. My sister and I agreed that there are other better Peruvian restaurants out there. I would recommend checking out Ceviche 19 if you're going to be paying ~$20 a dish.

This used to be another peruvian restaurant but I believe now it's under new ownership. Food is still average.

Family atmosphere, lomo saltado and Seco de Cordero my favorite dishes, highly recommended...plus you can buy Peruvian products at a very good price.

Prices a little high, but the flavors make it completely worth it. The Seco de lamb is exquisite.
