“It may be tacos for the gringos but the cooks are killin it. Went here on a rainy Monday night, just trying to find a dry taco spot. Their tacos were delicious, the vibe of the building is perfect with the brewery and wine right next door. The pork belly was tender fatty and crispy all at onceThe carne asada they cooked medium and the Smokey grilled flavor was on point. Didn’t taste like some boiled beef sitting in a pan.The chicken was grilled and moist! I never get chicken but this was good! The Quesabirria was not too cheesy, and the birria was moist and shredded nicely.Don’t skip this place because it’s not directly in the packing house. You’ll be missing out. Thank you for serving up a good meal for the fam on a slow Monday night!“
“I got the birria quesadilla and it was really good! I had already eaten some of the quesadilla in the picture but the portion size was huge. It came with console, salsa, lime and cilantro. I would definitely come back and the gentlemen working there was very friendly :)“
“I honestly could go on and on about this taco spot. It came as a recommendation from the front desk we were staying in. We wanted as traditional as you can get mexican food and this place did not disappoint. A hidden gem next to food for less, there is nothing fancy about this spot. But we would come here every single time we come to anaheim. I ordered a carne asada vampiro (a crispy tortilla with melted cheese), a chorizo taco, and two al pastor tacos. Each one being better than the next. The grilled onions on the side were seasoned well with a little spiciness. There salsa bar had five different sauce options each one better than the next. Be aware, bring cash, they do take cards, but the prices differ if using a card. Highly, highly recommend.“
“It's been a long time since we've visited Disney California. On our first night Puesto didn't disappoint. Our server Brian was amazing and he's recommendations where spot-on. The food is a little bit pricy, but it's worth every $$.“
“So I was really surprised how the food tasted it was actually pretty good I got the fish tacos fried with beans and rice no complaints their the people were very busy they only had two people working in the kitchen so it was a bit long to get your order or help they need a third person especially around lunch time! The bathroom was pretty Gross it's something they need to keep up but I can tell because of the short staff they have no one to do that the place looks very blan the only good thing is the food keeps people coming back“
“There mexican style pizza is delicious different from many pizzerias this is a taco spot but have this delicious pizza I Highly recommend it's called al gobernador delicious ? ? shrimp, diced tomatoes, onions there sauce ,cheese the dough on this pizza it's just like if your eating a pizza from mexico so delicious we also tried there bbq chicken pizza that is also delicious ND there wings as well you guys gotta come try this place out.“
“A little taco place I've visited on Taco Tuesdays on a few occasions. I really enjoy their hot sauces, Jamaica, and tacos! Personally recommend Asada, but don't be afraid to try other varieties they offer! Staff have been extremely wonderful on all visits~“
“If you are craving a home grilled fish or seafood, this is the place. Reasonable price and very healthy food choices.Vegetarian options: Their vegetarian options is very well designed for each individual customers.Parking: You need to come in early to get a spot before lots of people arrive, and it gets hard to find parking.“
“It’s a typical whole in the wall place with dubious hygiene, basic service, but above average food. Slightly above, keep your expectations low. Also they show you the menu, but the prices are incorrect, they just have a sign that the prices have changed but not by how much.“
“They were catering a wedding I attended and it was so good I asked them about possibly catering for my upcoming work function. They were so easy to work with. They tailored their program to meet our needs. They were on time and items were executed as discussed. Working with them was so far the best outcome out of all of our past experiences. I would definitely recommend reaching out and seeing if they can create what you are looking for. Their food program is on point and I wish I had easier access to them on a more regular basis. They are a gem for sure!“
“Came for the chile verde burrito and I was not disappointed. Tender chunks of pork in delicious spicy verde sauce wrapped in a delicate flour tortilla. Kenny took my order and was incredibly friendly and made me feel at home. Food came out quick and hot. Ill definitely be back! FYI cash only.“
“Hands down best cheapest and best tasting taco place in OC . Also their red salsa is the best! It’s actually spicy and has good flavor unlike some other places where their salsas are not even spicy and have no flavor . I highly recommend this place , they have other things in their menu that are pretty bomb “
“Came here for the first time after the remodel during lunch on a weekday. It gets very busy. I haven't had an enchilada dish with potatoes and drumsticks like that but I'm glad I did. Food was fresh and tasty. Inside was clean, service was good. Nice option for lunch in the area.“
“This and all this companys tacos are delish, but it's time they get a permanent location. They are always getting shut down cuz they out in front of some other buisnesses sidewalk. The employees need to be reminded to change out their gloves. Far too many times I have seen them go from holding their phone to serving food. You know everyone bring their phone to the restroom. Not Sanitary.“
“I fell in love when I tried their food truck in Los Angeles a few years back. I was craving Teddy's and this is the closest location. Got three tacos and consume (with a squirt of course). Mr. Man got quesadillas. I'm not sure if it's the cheese, or if it's the birria broth, but the food was just really salty. Without having the squirt I'm not sure I would have been able to finish it. The salsa also gave the tacos a nice kick. I tried Mr. Man's quesadillas and they were good, better than what I got. Had it not been so salty, everything would have been perfect. If they still have their food truck maybe I need to stick to that.“
“We came here as a last resort. We loved how inexpensive and delicious these tacos were. We tried asada, suadero, al pastor, tripa, and lengua tacos. The lengua was a little cold. The asada fries were creamy and well seasoned. We would recommend this for a family with kids who like plain tacos. Adults can add the delicious toppings and grilled onions on them. The salad were flavorful.“
“Halal food in Long beach! Don't be fooled by the outside - there's Mexican food here but also middle Eastern food too, so there are healthy options if you don't want a bunch of Cheetos on your food for example. I always liked the food here even before it was Fatima's, and the quality has remained the same! It's a small venue so you probably want to take your food to go, but for the price and quality it can't be beat!“
“I was probably the first vegan they've ever had, but they cobbled a salad together for me and I used the tortilla chips to eat it. It was very good, everything was fresh! My husband had the wet burrito, and he enjoyed it. No complaints!Vegetarian options: They will work with you.Parking: Easy peasy!“
“I don't know what it was called(the meat inside my burrito and then my 10 tacos I had to order because the taste was amazing!!!!) but the meat inside the big pan with the big roasted onion is AMAZING!!!!!! I'm going back again tomorrow night!“
“Food is outstanding good portions at a fair price. Service was outstanding they were very fast to get our food no waiting even though they were somewhat packed. They are very friendly and even asked how our food was. Ambiance was nice. Their wall of mouse ears lends to the feel of the restaurant. They play star wars movies on the TV so you can enjoy as you eat. Now the food, we had the Tacos Gobernadores, well made good flavor not overpowering or greasy as i have seen other places. We also had the Birria quesadilla great flavor not overpowering good portion 1 quesadilla is enough to fill you up and finally we had the Birria Burrito good sized burrito with a good taste and flavor. Overall on the Belly Buster scale 0-10 with 0 you are staving and 10 being a full belly, i give them a solid 8.“
“El Gallo Giro- 3/21/2024Time of day - EveningCarnitas Burrito and Agua de Jamaica (a la cart)Paid: $17.76Dined-In.Wait time - 20 minutes (it was busy)Good customer service from the cashier . They are welcoming as soon as you come in. They’ll call your number , so have a seat because everything is made to order. Good presentation. Flour tortillas that taste like they were made that day. Burrito comes with choice of meat, beans, Mexican rice, onions and cilantro. Delicious. The Jamaica (Hibiscus Tea) tastes like it was brewed from the flower. Plus they have your other favorites too. (Horchata, Pineapple, Limon, etc)They also have tortas, tamales, and tacos. They have fresh pan dulces made throughout the day!Everything is good. “This past weekend my girlfriend and I stopped to get a Mulita for lunch & besides that also got a pound of birria. Everyone here is always so friendly & happy. The food is always super delicious too! I will forever stay coming here! *No pictures since I already ate everything but give it until the end of the week and I'll be right back over here!“
“The food had large portions and food was good, but not remarkable. I got the #2. Trio tacos. Just the one quesobiriila taco had me full. Next time I will get just that. The dorido taco was solid I could recommend. There is no fountain machine here and drinks are limited and pricey. Bring your own drink! On a side note if you wanted to rent a restaurant this place is a good option.Wheelchair accessibility: East peasy with a wheelchair“
“Can’t complain. After a typical Angels loss this did its job as a depression helper. The quesadilla consistency is probably the best ever (even better than moms homemade ones). The pastor was THE BEST, the asada was good, and the chicken was great. The torta was really good too. Definitely a spot you gotta try for yourself tho. Horchata was good if you like the sweets and tamarindo was really good if you like that. ORDER ONLINE ITS A CHEAT CODE“
