Deliciopus Mother's Day buffet with plenty of options. The buffet was upscale and included sushi, raw oyster bar, salads, proteins and appetizers. The charcuterie platter was a little paltry (they never replenished the cheese), but not a big deal. It was not crowded so it was a casual but nice Mothers Day dinner. The live entertainment was great, too!

The Tangerine Room at the Westin in Anaheim is one of my comfortable places to dine when I am visiting Orange County. It is a place where I can relax with friends and family and just have an enjoyable evening. I recently celebrated my mother's 83rd birthday with family. The team at Tangerine did a wonderful job. The reason I keep coming back to Tangerine is threefold: First, the cocktails at Tangerine and across the Westin venues are amazing. I enjoy craft cocktails and the bar team from the restaurant, to the lobby bar and Rise Rooftop are among the best in SoCal. Second, wine makes for a great dinner with friends and family. The wine list at Tangerine is far beyond what I would expect at a Westin. They have a full range to select from including top tier domestic and foreign wines. Having a wide choice of wines really makes the dinner special for me. Finally, the food and service is always really good. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and quickly taken to our table. Our server was so warm and friendly; taking the time to acknowledge my mom's birthday and engaged in an authentic manner that made my mom feel special. The food was also delicious and consistent with their modern California brand. The scallop appetizer and Hawaiian shrimp appetizer were our favorites. We also really enjoyed the fish from the Northwest along with a really tasty pork chop. Finally, the management team is always on the floor and attentive. We were visited by two young looking managers who took the time to check in on us and make sure we were enjoying our celebration. I also checked to see if we could have our final drinks up at Rise Rooftop to celebrate while watching the fireworks. They made that happen. Thank you again to the Tangerine Room team for another memorable and enjoyable evening.

The service and staff were outstanding, otherwise I would have rated it a one star. The restaurant is situated inside Anaheim Westin Hotel. One can valet or self park. Restaurant gives 2-hour parking free. If one stays longer, the parking fee is $4/15min, ouch, with Valet fee extra. The appetizers were actually pretty good with good taste and presentation. The portions were a little small. The main dishes were not well prepared with tiny portion. Flavors were dominated by salt, i.e. salty. Pork chop was overcooked. Lamb dish didn't taste lamb. Of course the charges for tiny dishes were quite pricey and overpriced. There are much more better choices for dining in Orange County, even Anaheim.

Good inexpensive brunch but lacking in variety. They did give us a private room for our large party and that was nice.

I am a food snob and this place was sooo gooood! We got it to go and got a steak salad and burger with truffle fries and we could not have been happier with all choices. The service over the phone was great- they were friendly and helpful, food was ready when we got there! Would go there again!

Great location for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Transforms to a higher end menu at night that is excellent.

Perfect venue for a business dinner. Tangerine Room was able to accommodate our group of 11 in a semi-private section of the restaurant which really helped to reduce the overall noise level. Wait staff was very attentive and made sure no glass was empty throughout the evening.

So my friend and I decided to have a birthday dinner with just the two of us and she chose The Tangerine Room. I've eaten at many "high end" restaurants and love food shows, so I was excited but after being seated and ordering our appetizers, I knew this was going to be a rough ride. We ordered butternut squash, but was told it was out of stock. So than we ordered scallops and the "lobster pot pie". The app only came with two scallops and the pot pie was anything but. I've included a photo of the supposed pot pie. It was basically a bowl of sour lobster bisque with a silver dollar size puff pastry circle. Even when the waiter brought the app out he distinctly said "lobster bisque?" and we said "no it was supposed to be pot pie." and he didn't say any more. So needless to say nothing was really sharable as an appetizer.Next was the main course. I was already disappointed, so just ordered the risotto and my friend got the NY steak and a side of mashed potatoes (because everything is priced separately). The risotto looked very nasty when it was served. It looked like mud. The risotto had so much mushroom that it turned brown. The rice was still crunchy and had some sort of wine or vinegar, so that every bite looked like vomit and smelled like it.My friends' steak was ok but small and she said it was " fine" but nothing special and same with her potatoes. As for service, we would have said something about the food but our waitress maybe came by the table 3 times and we even had to ask someone for the check.Lastly, it was both of our birthdays and we even made a note on the reservation and only the check-in desk took note. We weren't expecting a dessert (which we never even saw or were even offered that menu) but it would have been nice if our absent waitress would have acknowledged it. But seriously, why even have a place on the reservation asking if there's a special occasion?Definitely on my list of never again.

Was very nice, wish they had more warm entree options for the price you pay and bottomless mimosas. Was just too pricey for what you get. Our kids were $45 each and ate (what kids typically do) chicken tenders, pizza and Mac n cheese. We paid $415 for a family of four, it's just too much. Was nice, but too costly

The Easter brunch buffet was okay, but didn't meet the expectations of the cost. Normally a mimosa is included when you pay $95 a person (tax and tip not included), but it was a $12 extra charge. The service was also just okay.

I found this restaurant on Open Table when looking for an Easter brunch. We were very pleased. The food was very good, and it's one of the bigger brunches I've seen in a long time. There was a big variety from a carving station to vegetables to seafood and more. The desserts were especially delicious. ❤️

Excellent service and surprisingly great food. I ate here several times during a massive trade show, and both I and my guests were extremely impressed with the food and the service. Will definitely eat here again next time I'm at the Anaheim Convention Center.

We usually don"t eat at hotels unless on vacation but since this was Restaurant Week we made an exception. Their lunch menu for this event was delicious and we will come back for a Dinner

Please note this review has nothing to do with the staff or the owners, the service was immaculate. The people working here keep you filled with water, have great smiles and are super kind. I think where a majority of the reviews are coming from and take note is that this restaurant is located inside of a hotel. We went for restaurant week and tried their menu and although nothing is wrong with the food this is not a spot that screams wow with their cuisine. I would most likely go just to chat with the service team again- and sit in the pretty location. The best part of the menu was the appetizers however the pasta and chicken were not different or out of the ordinary. Nothing wrong with the food in terms of quality just as stated not exceptional either. Again take it with a grain of salt as this is a hotel resturant so for a hotel yes the quality is great. But is it your resturant quality that you have to come to time and time again- not necessarily.
