Had the BBQ chicken breast w/the roasted broccoli & smash sweet potatoes. The chicken was very moist. The roasted broccoli however was burned & looked like charcoal briquettes. Sent it back for steamed broccoli which was ok. However our server was Earl and hope that you are seated in his section. Over the top in service and he brought a nice ice cream treat for a birthday celebration. Great job Earl !

I LOVE Wood Ranch and have been dining there since it opened over 20 years ago (Anaheim Hills location). It's our "Go to" place to take friends when they come to visit. Pretty much anything you order is exceptional across the menu. However... We took a friend there last night and while I typically get BBQ, I ordered a RibEye Steak. So it is their fault that my expectations were high. The cut and flavor of the steak were average at best. I don't know if it was their supplier or just a bad cut but frankly, it kind of tasted like something I would get at Sizzler (and I have been there for 30-plus years). Now that steaks are well over $40, our expectations should be high. Wood Ranch, please be better...Still Love you!

I was helped by Earl today and he did an amazing job as a server. I went with my Grandma and sister and he was very courteous and helpful towards all of us. The conversation we had will be long lasting and I am grateful to Earl for being an amazing host as well as person overall. Definitely recommend going and asking for Earl! Food was fantastic and came out in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

Service is always 1st at our weekly dine-in here. I don't think our server (Austin) ever has a bad day. Quick, efficient, and never a bad meal ever. Usually order the BBQ salad and potato skins as appetizer. Of course their Tri-tip is well known. Back to service - Earl and Sam always stop to talk and you'll get to know the servers because they are quality and turn-over here is nill to none. Ask for Austin's area and you'll be delighted by his dry humor and (almost) stand-up comedy. Plus be knows the menu like the back of his hand and makes great suggestions.

Great ambience, Anna waitress was super friendly. Filet was dry, BBQ beef ribs ioven baked but nice and tenderly Seared. Mac and cheese was not cooked from scratch. Rolls were delicious. Baked beans were sweet. I would suggested the cauliflower appetizer. seriously delightful with a touch of blue cheese on top. Rate this a 6.5 over ten. I'll keep my food reviews coming. I love their bbq chicken chopped salad. Great for takeout, always quick. The servers here for takeout are so helpful and attentive.

The service was great though I found it very difficult to say this was anywhere close to BBQ. I guess if you have never had real BBQ this I guess would do. However, if you consider yourself a backyard pit master, you will be VERY disappointed.

Classy and elegant bbq restaurant. We came in around 5pm and it wasn’t that busy and the hospitality we got was superb. Very welcoming and our server was attentive. Food was delicious. I forgot to take a picture of our food, but remembered when we ordered our dessert. Great place to dine at with your significant other and enjoy the meal.
