Unfortunately, this was the worst Chinese food I've ever ate in my life. I would not recommend this to anyone.

My family and I have never eaten at this particular restaurant. On my way home I decided to grab some. We spent over a $160. It was literally the worst food we've ever eaten in our lives. We're used to eating China town, Oakland food, Chinatown San Francisco, Chinese food! Over here it's slim pickings, so we ordered varied dishes. Beef, pork, shrimp, chicken, wonton soup and tons of other food. Everything was disgusting, soggy, no taste, and bland. Mushu tasted rotten and I was given Latin tortillas for it. The one thing that was good about the whole experience, was the Mongolian beef spice other than that? Do not eat here unless you like disgusting food. Good luck

02/23/2024, Rice Bowl, Chinese Food, 3436 Deer Valley Road, Antioch, CA 94531. This place cook old food for example you order sweet and sour pork. They have fresh batter and place old hard as a rock pork in the batter and cook. Actually, you don't know what type of meat because it's hard as a rock and dark, not like fresh pork should be. Please spare yourself of the disappointment. Spend your money where you get quality food. I will definitely report Rice Bowl to the Health and Food Department to request an inspection. I'm quite sure it's more issues in the kitchen then this!

Best local Chinese food. THEY ALSO DELIVER THEMSELVES. I recently learned they deliver after an order went wrong on DoorDash and I had to just go in myself because it was taking over an hour through DoorDash, screw DoorDash because RiceBowl delivery IS SO DAMN FAST. Waaaaaaayy faster and I like that I’m directly supporting the restaurant. And there isn’t a bunch of delivery fees and upcharged prices like on DoorDash. I get way more food for the same pricePlease if you order here order directly from them for delivery not on DoorDash because you’ll save more money! It’s awesomeLove their BOGO for the shrimp dumplings the dim sum is so good here. Such amazing food my favourite is the Steamed Spareribs my god is it so so goodLike you have no idea how good those steamed spareribs are. Simple little side dish but SO GOOD it is absolutely my favouriteWhen I craved dim sum I went all the way to china town now that I learned of RiceBowl I just go here since it’s so close to my house.I just hope one day they add Mapo Tofu to their menu it’s the one thing they don’t have and I go to another Chinese place for that when I crave it. If rice bowl adds mapo tofu to the menu I would eat here everydayI already order pretty regularly for the steamed spareribs. But now that I learned they deliver and I can be lazy it’s game over for my wallet

Our family has been going to this restaurant for many years now and we love the owners; husband and wife and son Kevin. The food never disappoints and always delicious. We are always greeted with smiles and a warm welcome. The young ladies are very professional, they're very helpful when I can't decide what to order. She knows exactly our favorite dishes and she makes the best tasting peach tea which I'm so obsessed with everyday. Thank you !!

I came in here on a non busy hours. The place is good. I love the orange chicken. This was recommended to me and it did not disappoint. It tastes really good and you can see the chicken inside soft and tender. I didn't wait long for my food as well. I would definitely come back here. The price was definitely affordable considering all the prices are going up, i paid 10.15 dollars. And on top of that, i didn't even finish the food since the serving is huge. The place gives you a chinese vibes.

The orange chicken sauce tasted pretty good, but the chicken itself was dry / hard as if it was old. The BBQ pork fried rice had tiny amounts of pork and lacked flavor. Sizzling seafood soup was also bland and tasted like lightly salted water.

I ordered a mango boba and for some reason it tasted like garlic made me want to throw up I won't come back disappointed

Um, I genuinely don't understand how bad and foul this food tasted. The broccoli tasted like a weird chemical and so did the meat. It's really bad. When 6ft tall teenagers won't eat this and they LOVE Chinese food...what's that tell you? They will eat low carb sugar free ice cream but won't touch THIS again. It's disgusting. I literally SPIT THE FOOD OUT. It's really bad. It has a taste I've never tasted that's not supposed to be there.
Good and fast Chinese food. Better than Panda Express. Their drink prices and portions are awesome, probably the best part. Heard good reviews about this place through other people. The service in the morning is not that welcoming. The food takes a long time and the meat is still frozen. I spent 5 combos for my kids and they did not want to touch them and usually they finish their panda express.

The guy came off rude on the phone when you ask questions or say something a certain way and he would make you feel stupid. Shu mai was frozen inside. The inside of the restaurant is depressing and they take 20+ minutes for the food to be ready when it is not busy. Everything taste gross and the owner is rude and they treat customers a different way for being black. Please don't support their racist and cheap gross food

This is my go-to for Chinese food. I always get free egg rolls with my order because I always spend $35-40 per order. Their portions are huge for what you pay. I've never ordered something I didn't like. My favorite is the salt and pepper fish. The food always tastes like it's freshly made. When I order delivery it comes expeditiously. Always sooner than they promise.

This place has really good food but lately the service has been not so great. I called tonight to place an order and the young lady that's answered the phone asked me to hold and slammed the phone down in the counter. I waited on hold for 6+ minutes, I was driving home from work and wanted to pick up the order on my way. When I walked in, she realized she had left the phone off the hook and tried to take the order, but I was standing at the counter and said I'm the one you left on hold forever. The young lady didn't bother to apologize and they weren't busy.... I'm bummed because I love this place the foods really good but, if the service is going to be less than looks like I have to find another place. Pack your patience if you call you might be forgotten.
