Unfortunately I have no photo to add because I scarfed down my food before thinking about Yelp. But this inconspicuous place serves up some really good dishes. My favorite is the teriyaki salmon with brown rice and salad. The glaze on the salmon was delicious. The rice was fluffy and the salad came with a nice miso dressing. The place itself is under construction and the dining area is blocked off. It gives a "Mom and Pop" shop. I wasn't bothered by that at all. However, they lose a star for that.

Food is subpar, not the real deal. Lacking in flavor and quality. I ordered the chicken combo and the katsu was not hot . The service is not the best either. I was greeted with a bunch of employees coughing upon entering . The ambiance was not there... maybe better time next time

Worst customer service I placed the order for teriyaki chicken and steam rice and they charged me double I called them to add on my order only and the cashier who took the order didn’t understand and when I called them to ask for refund they didn’t want to I was at work and they told me bring the food than they can refund I told them I bring it next morning and the manager was so rude and he hang up the phone very poor service

Food pretty tasty.. the place has zero or even minus on the ambiance.. the service is more than sub par. If you order online it's about $5 more per entree even if you pick up because they use DoorDash.. they get 3 stars for food the rest.. feel like you're eating out of some back alley Asian food. The food is the only reason you would go here. They were being super racist of a customer who was on the phone. "Is she Hispanic" probably she works at Popeye's.. they should have just refunded the customer and been done with it.

Nice staff, tasty food, good portions and fair prices. Always prepares my orders quickly and efficiently. Only thing is I forgot to ask for Katsu sauce, wish they had offered it instead of me having to remember to ask. Saw another review saying they're racist - don't listen to that person. The people here are kind, hard-working folks who have always been nothing but nice to me, and I'm not white.

I have noted the majority of the low ratings were of people of color like myself complaining about customer service. From my frequent visits and based on experience, I've witnessed how the owner (cashier) smiles endlessly almost kisses their rear ends of white people only compared to the horrendous treatment towards minorities. Accused him of racism and says he doesn't care.

The portion sizes are huge! Now that's what I'm talking about! The bbq chicken had a nice charred flavor. The meat was moist and came with a bed of vegetables. Of all the Hawaiian restaurants I've been to, this is one of the better ones. Will be back if I'm in the area!

Ok so I like this place, too much. But in my last order, there was a metal piece in my food. That was not good. I really almost gave them five stars because I love their food but I didn't because they need to know to be more careful with what "falls" into the food. I could have ingested it and that could have caused me serious medical issues.

Yummy is the perfect word for this place! I love their Lau Lau. We always get delivery, we have never eaten there in person, but our food always comes to us quickly; hot and yummy.
