We were a party of 4, with the restaurant to ourselves. It seemed to take a long time to get our food once ordered. The prices were too high for mediocre food.

The tortilla chips were stale and old. I ordered a carne asada California burrito, the meat was old and refried to the point someone could call it a chicharron. And the carne was very greasy and it had a lot of nerves. I recommend you not to go if you really want mexican food there is a lot of places here in Apple Valley. I payed a lot of money for this food and it turned out bad.

Food was so fresh, and hot off the grill. Pleasant atmosphere. Nice ambiance. Even though we were the only customers at the time, the server was not attentive. She was very kind though. We will definitely return.

Food tasted decent, but was overpriced and small portions for the amount. $46 dollars for two small burritos, a side of rice and beans. The rice and beans portions were barely a small scoop. Food too forever to make and had an angry lady ahead of me complaining about the wait time too.

We ordered the asada tacos the meat was tasty the homemade tortillas were delicious! The beans and rice were great. The ambiance is nice and comfortable. The day we went it was karaoke night so nice. I can't wait to go back! I highly recommend this place if you love authentic Mexican food. Our waitress was very helpful and courteous.

We stopped for lunch while on the road. The food was fresh and tasty and the server was friendly and attentive. They have two kinds of rice (regular red rice and white rice with veggies) which is refreshing. Salsa was fabulous - has a nice bite and a roasted flavor.

First time here. Inside is nice and has a cozy feel. We were the only customers there at 6pm. Service was great she was attentive and friendly. Chips and salsa were disappointing. Chips were store bought and very stale. Salsa was really good tho wish we had fresh chips to enjoy it. We ordered quesabirria tacos which were very good consume had good flavor. Fish taco which was just ok it was a little dry but massive we were able to make 2 tacos out of one. The rice and beans were not good at all. I'm pretty sure the beans were canned and the rice was white with some veggies thrown in, not traditional Mexican rice. Side of guacamole looked good but had very little flavor.

My husband & I were on our way to another restaurant and noticed this one. I wish we had kept on driving pass it. Looks nice outside and inside but the food was super lacking. The menu choices are very small. The chicken they use is leg and thigh meat so my choices were limited to beef. I don't like seafood and only eat chicken breast. I chose the beef fajitas. The beef was as tough as leather literally. I tried to chew it but had to spit it out. I tried a couple more pieces with no success. That whole batch was terrible. My dogs probably wouldn't have even liked it. Once the waitess was available I told her my experience, she was very apologetic several timesapologizing, however it wasn't her fault with the type of beef that was being served. She said she'd take that plate off the bill. I agreed to pay for the rice and beans which were super small portions which maybe could have be charged at 4.99 not 9.99. Shucks the fajitas were 20.99. My hubby said his food was just okay. His beef taco was fatty chunks. The salsa was salty, not much choice in a salsa selection. The salsa didn't even have a chunky style. We won't be returning here. For the prices being charged they definitely need to offer more and improve the selection of meats to serve their customers. They've been in business for 3 years. Maybe the karaoke ? is the part that the customers like. There's no alcohol being served because the liquor license had expired and they needed to renew. I don't know what's up with that and why a business would allow a license to expire. Lots of people may enjoy a margarita ? at that type of establishment.

The menu was in Spanish so my friend only knew the word taco and that's what she ordered. I got a quesadilla because I'm vegetarian and that was my only choice. After 20 min. My friend got her "big carnitas taco" but I guess it was just the name "Big' because it was a regular size taco. Then we where waiting for 10+ more minutes for my quesadilla with rice and beans and we were the only 2 ppl in the restaurant. It'll be our first and last visit over there. Sorry but that was my experience.Vegetarian options: I saw a vegetarian burrito on the menu.

Went on Yelp to look for Nachos and this place came up right away. I looked at previous reviews to look at the nachos reviews, but there was only one positive one, so I decided to give it a try, as I'm still looking for a great spot. These were the worst ones I've had. Mainly because of the over powering sharp cheddar they use. If you're not going to use Mexican cheeses, then use Monterey jack, pepper jack, or even mozzarella or nacho cheese. The asada was whatever like most places in the HD, but I'm used to that, so I don't care.
