Best service and food I've had in a long while. Got the cowboy omelette and couldn't have been any better. Gravy and everything were perfect!!

Went here for breakfast and the food was excellent. Garden skillet and biscuits and gravy were flavorful and cooker perfectly. Quick service with good coffee refills. It was cash only when we came in because their system was down but that was communicated clearly.

Good food, fair price (I mean everything is expensive everywhere especially with the increased minimum wage imposed recently!!). Even on a Thursday afternoon there is always a wait, but not a long wait. I will recommend this restaurant if you are in Apple Valley.

The owner is super rude to certain customers and I felt many times rushed by her... she never greets or welcomes certain customers, the servers or the ladies are super hard workers and super sweet and food is good ... but the owner needs to be professional and treat customers fair and respectful with a smile ... she looks miserable

For years, this was THE go-to place for breakfast/lunch here in Apple Valley. Last visit, a few days ago, was greeted with "Hi...you know it's cash only now?" That was a bit of a shock, but more so, seeing how empty, the typically full place, was now. Not sure what's going on, but the service was mediocre and the food fell short from before. I hate seeing this happen to one of our favorite spots. Praying they turn around and go back to the original way of business and get better cooks. Otherwise, they'll fold like so many others have. Sad to think.....

Food 7/10 Coffee 5/10 Service 4/10 Value 8/10 Food: The food at this location is standard diner food your usual breakfast brunch items. The Texas skillet was very well put together no issues with meal. For the location being a diner/cafe the food was as expected. The use of hot sauce is usually required with these spots. But the beef was not dried out and the eggs were cooked well variety of veggies used was basic for the skillet all in all acceptable. Coffee: Coffee is advertised as freshly ground coffee so "bean to cup" for diner coffee it was good not too bitter but still bold drinkable either with or without cream. Basic coffee though not much to say. Service: The waitress I had was ok welcoming but seated me in a corner right next to kitchen entrance. But that is not the waitress fault but is the owner fault for doing a poor job with the table layout. The owner should look into changing the tables around in my opinion the location was not using all the tables at time I went so in my opinion why seat someone in a bad table when others are open. But could be how the waitress routes are which is an owner issue. The waitress could have been more attentive though that needs to improve but I was also right by the kitchen entrance so inconvenient for a waiter or waitress to stand there for a long period of time. Value: This diner gives prices that equals the service atmosphere and food of location which is acceptable

I absolutely love this place. They always have the best service and the food is always so delicious. Sunday mornings can get a bit busy, but if you come in early, the wait is very minimal.

While the food is still great, it's weird to feel that you're an inconvenience when you're giving them your business. Used to be one of my favorite places here, but I won't be going back.

I walked into this place for the first time I was recommended by a friend to apply for a job so took the advice and went in asking for a application ( mind you it's Monday) not a weekend I truly get it was busy - I'm in food industry and I'm a server too but the manager there is absolutely ridiculous her attitude when I asked for a application, was very unprofessional, and very uncalled for, and threw me an application .. what she dosent know is I work for a corporate company and I am a server, and I was only looking for a side part-time job very unprofessional and disgusting behavior for someone they have there as a manager... definitely will never recommend this place to anyone! I will be calling the owner from what I was told is there only weekends! They have made a pork choice for someone to run their business.. I will never be back !

Best biscuits and gravy in the high desert! Only downfall is that they are only open for breakfast/lunch
