Staff didn’t greet us or make any eye contact. I brought my parents and grandma here for a special treat when they were visiting yesterday from out of town. The staff missed an item on our order, were out of a first choice item, and couldn’t accommodate a small adjustment in a hot drink. We were still friendly and tipped. Took 15+ minutes to get the whole order. Then we brought one item back to be warmed. This was my second time there, but I wouldn’t go back at this point.Had a nice walk at the beach after though!

Great place near the beach for pizza....whole or by the slice,quiche whole or by the slice as well as pie and bagels. Coffee drinks as well that was good. Limited varieties of each item but very good flavor and at a modest price. Example....pizza slice 6.00, quiche with a slice of bread 9.00.Parking: Across from the beach so the lot is sometimes full. More parking down the street.

I preordered pie for Thanksgiving and took them to So Cal. I ordered online and received an email regarding a question I had in the comments and to coordinate the best date for pick up. The family was impressed with the pie and the name. We got the caramel apple and the bourbon pecan. Many went back for seconds. I also heard a few times that the pecan was the best they had ever had!

Friendly workers, great bakery items and wonderful dirty chais! I cant stop coming here when i get a break in the mornings. I have not had anything i dont like, so far. Happy to have found this place :) right next to the beach too! Cant go wrong with that. Happy to pay slightly more expensive prices for the wonderful quality all around anytime!
I've been twice -- once for a latte and once for GF pie. This place is super sweet and has a prime location. The staff both times were warm and welcoming. If you're in the area, this is probably the best coffee shop.

Aptos finally has somewhere to get quality coffee near the beach. This is the perfect little coffee shop right off Rio Del Mar beach. You can enjoy your coffee at one of their tables or take it for a walk along the beach. They also have awesome quiche, which makes for the perfect breakfast on a Sunday morning.

Wish I would've found Venus Pie Trap earlier in our stay because it looks delicious! We just stopped in for coffee & a chai tea, both were pretty solid. You can't beat a nice cuppa coffee and a walk along the beach, especially on a drizzly day. Will try to visit again soon!

The cookies had nuts in them and weren’t labeled as such. My girlfriend had an allergic reaction to them. Also my grandma doesn’t speak good English and this white lady attending us was being a bit rude. I’m not going back.
