I tried the Chef's Special Spicy Beef. Highly recommended. It's almost like a hot pot broth with noodles, rather than a noodle soup. Nice layer of chili oil on top, which flavors the noodles as you pull them out.

I enjoyed all the food I ordered. Scallion pancakes, pork bun, braised beef soup with thin and thick noodles, and the best fried rice ever. I would definitely order from here again. Too bad I didn't take any pictures of my food as I gobbled it all up. One thing to note is that, and I believe, there are 4 types of noodle options, thick, thin, flat, and wide!Parking: Shares a small lot with the rest of the plaza

This place is recommended by a friend from SGV, and I finally got to try it as I was in the area to do some errands. If you are looking for a quick, affordable meal, then this is one of the better places to go! I got the house special beef noodle which was $13.99 before tax/tip, and I opted for the regular noodle. The noodles seem hand pulled and the texture is al dente. The soup is fairly soothing and not too salty, perfect to differentiate from the cilantro / green onions that were ample. I opted for mild spicy which is still fairly spicy (perhaps because the soup is pretty hot), but the chili oil is so good. The beef is high quality and there was a decent amount. Portions are pretty standard for a satisfying meal. Service is fairly hands-off which is fine since it is a casual, quick spot ideally for lunch - you ask for iced water and then food comes out quick (like less than 5 minutes) and then you pay the bill at the front. The people working here are very nice nonetheless, and they speak Cantonese and Mandarin too.

Super authentic and super flavorful beef noodle soup place! It was so delicious! You can choose from like 6 different kinds of noodles and choose your spice level! Do not order too spicy if you are not used to the type of chili oil sauce they use. The noodles are freshly hand pulled and cooked and you can literally taste the freshness. The only downside side is that I wish there was more protein in each bowl! But nonetheless it was still really tasty and packed a punch! The restaurant was super clean inside and cozy. Service was also great and our waters were always refilled.

I'm not sure why the reviews are so high. I had the house special (which costs over $15) and I thought the beef noodle soup was okay (perhaps even a little watered down) but the noodles were nice and chewy! I think I would want my beef noodle soup a little more full bodied. FWIW I don't like the Lan soup noodles on Huntington Dr either. The portion sizing is very good and they do a great job packaging for take out though!

I love beef noodle soup and this place is at the top of my list for beef noodle soup places! The food is great! Everything is made fresh. You can watch the chef stretching your noodles before being served. The soup is rich and flavorful. I also recommend the appetizers too. Not much you can go wrong with. It's pretty all good. It just depends on what you're craving. I like the thickest and widest style noodles for the chewiest texture!

Can't believe I haven't seen this spot before. It has been open for 3ish years and the food here is great. Soups and appetizers come out within 5-10 minutes during off-lunch hours. I was hoping the beef rolls would be larger especially for its steeper price but the flavor is there and texture has is nice a springy and chewy (in a good way). The soups hit the spot; my personal favorite was the sour soup medium spice (comes with beef slices). The depth of umami and flavor was deeper compared to the braised pork soup which was still a great option!

I've had the Braised Beef with flat noodles, wide noodles and thick noodles. I've also had the Lamb Soup with flat noodles. The Lamb soup they said is their specialty. The meats are extremely tender and juicy, the broth is herbal, perfectly salted and exquisite in aroma and flavor. I've been coming here for a few weeks now and I will be back pretty often. The staff is friendly and you can see them making the noodles by hand behind the glass, so cool! It's a humble little restaurant but the food and service is great! These are my favorite types of restaurants, small in size but HUGE in flavor.

The food is super authentic and delicious. I LOVE spicy soup BUT the spicy soup had too much Szechuan for my liking and left my mouth numb. lol not really spicy but more so numbing. Do not get this soup if you're not used to the Szechuan. Get the regular braised beef and add the chili oil.
