Food is mediocre but on my large take out order they forgot to include marinated duck wings and when we called the woman accused us of lying and kept insisting she put in our bag. Not any apologies just accusing us of lying. Will never return. Food wasn't even very good

This place has the best green onion pastries. I am not a fan of their rice burrito, seems to be mostly rice and stingy on the fillings.

Favorite location. Too bad they close so early. Not cheap but they're not stingy either. Love the savory soy milk, rice rolls, daikon cakes, and plum drink. The egg crepes could be better.

For those who prioritize their health in the morning, eggs, onions, and whole wheat bread with unsweetened warm soy milk are the best choices. It's the perfect way to start a healthy day. Highly recommended.

Food quality is similar to other si hai I have visited except that the place is a little smaller compared to the others.

The food still good, but the price went up quite a bit. Almost double of the price of some items, compare to one year ago.

Good food but hostile cashier

I threw away the cruller and onion pancake right away when I tasted it. The oil smelled stale and the texture of cruller was impossible to chew on. They used to be airy and crispy and they are not even edible now. The frozen cruller in China supermarket is 10x better. They need to step up their game to barely survive.

This is the first breakfast place I went in LA. Totally spent around $60, but the taste is not as good as I thought. No need to come back again.

Don't let the 3 stars fool you, because all my Taiwanese aunties and uncles don't have yelp and are here grabbing breakfast every day. If you want authentic Taiwanese breakfast, this is absolutely the place! You order at the cashier first (they take cards now, yay!) and seat yourself at a table. Be warned, even though the lady was super friendly and patient with my broken Mandarin when ordering, it will be helpful if you know the names of the dishes you want or find photos of them beforehand as they don't speak too much English. This is a well-known place to locals so it can get busy on the weekends, so expect a little wait time or for some items to run out later in the afternoon. Your first time here? I got you, this is what you want: - Hot soy milk and Chinese donut (dip it in the milk) - Green onion pancake with egg - Dan Bing with pork floss - Pork Zhongzi - Radish cake with egg - Pickled veggie rice roll - Jess

It is priceless to find a northern Chinese breakfast place in this area. We definitely don't have one in NorCal. These items are all handmade. If anyone complains about price, go to a cheap American fastfood place instead!!@ 10AM on Thursday, the place is still 50% full and bakery items are nearly sold out. We bought nearly everything in sight plus more on the menu for our kids. And they are good. Will come back if we are back in this area.Photo shows nearly empty bakery shelves.

I've been coming here forever and it's awesome that they've caught up with the times and accept credit cards now. I love the scallion pancakes with egg and the egg crepe. It's pretty clean in here and the workers are really nice. The lady who takes order is very friendly, nice, and helpful. She always responds when I greet her and thank her and she always responds genuinely. I hear her greet everyone hi how can I help you, etc. You just don't get that type of friendly service anywhere you go nowadays. She was just as friendly and patient with someone who doesn't speak Mandarin. Anyway, I felt compelled to update the review because of her service. :)
