Very disappointed with this kee wah bakery as we had special ordered a cake and noticed the fruit on the cake had made the rest of the cake spoil after one day of picking up the cake. This was a large order and costed us $54 for my mom's birthday. We had distributed this cake to friends and family. So i am embarrassed when i found that the fruit i found on my portion was spoiled. I spoke to the general manager, Gina, on the phone about how the cake smelt spoiled and how we found a strawberry going bad on the center of the cake. She completely understood and asked that we come in no later than 5:30pm for a full refund. When i arrived, Gina had already left and there were only 3 other ladies that could help. Sadly, they werent very helpful because they completely dismissed our concerns and played it off like we were in the wrong to even suggest a spoilt cake. I was in such disbelief that one of the ladies, Francis, would deny, deny, deny our concerns. She kept on making excuses like how it isnt strawberry season so the fruit is supposed to be sour. However the kind of sour we mentioned is from the entirety of the cake. We could smell the cake and it definitely felt off. Im very disappointed with how they were indirectly calling us liars and refusing to provide any good customer service. We usually go to the kee wah bakery in san gabriel but since we moved, this one was the closest. Clearly not the best. I suggest people avoid this bakery. The bread is dry and not as tasty and the cakes clearly aren't made fresh even if special ordered. The service is practically non-existent if the staff will indirectly accuse you of lying to them. I cant even believe we had to witness such awful customer service.

Hands down one of the best egg custard in Arcadia (626) area. They have the original and Portuguese style egg custards. Can't go wrong with either. I prefer the Portuguese custard. It has a little more depth. The custard is slightly creamier, and the crust has a flakiness to it.

Premiere Chinese bakery that has been known for probably three generations and maybe more. From their Hong Kong roots to here they make some of the best Chinese pastries that many try to imitate. From popular favorites like the Egg Tarts to hard-to-find Curry Pork Pastries, there is something for everyone here. There are also seasonal favorites such as Moon Cakes, and special occasion items for holidays and Social events.Sign up for their frequent flyer program and let the points get you freebies.

I was passing through and had to make a turn and explore this bakery. I ordered a milk tea, and bought a few of their pineapple, mango square short cake cookies. I also ordered miscellaneous pastries, red bean, matcha tea, almond, bolo bao, crispies, and a few others. Everything was fresh and delicious. I will definitely try to go back again and buy some more of the short cake.

Always love their Bolo bread and their egg tart. They have 2 types: one is cookie crust and the other one is layered crust. Both of them are delicious. I ordered 6 of each, total a dozen each time I visit. Their rice crispy is yummy along with their walnut cookies and cachew coffee coolies. Definitely a must visit place of you in San Gabriel valley area. They have stored at Arcadia, San Gabriel, Rowland heights and Monterey py. I wish they open one in Orange county soon.

Kee Wah was open on Christmas Day and saved me from arriving empty-handed! I finally tried their savory items: bbq pork and curry pork hand pies. Flaky, buttery, soft and totally satisfying. I never leave without a sweet bun. My go-to's are the pineapple bun (contains no fruit), coconut cream bun, or the cocktail bun (filled with shredded coconut).

I don't come here often because they're on the pricey side. But surprisingly, their pastries are decent priced. I love their curry meat pastries. So good. Of course, you can't come here without getting their egg tarts - all styles are very delicious!

I don't live in San Gabriel valley anymore however whenever I visit friend I would stop by kee wah on my way home. This bakery kiss itself busy because you can order online or order on food delivery app for pickup of course there are more selection in store. I got 40% off on Uber eats so I just take advantage of that. I got the 6 egg tart,3 crown Royal pineapple bun a chicken pie and a curry pie for my mom total count all around 30 bucks without discount. With this count is under $20. They are really busy the store was packed and my order was ready everything was hot, I know because I couldn't wait to get home once I pop into that car I can't help myself not to get an egg tart. I didn't take pictures because the heart was soft and it seems like it have been squished and the tart crumbles. Which is okay because taste is what matters, the egg tart doesn't taste to have any egg in it, it was pale yellow. I get it with inflation and not raising price as much of course they have to use less egg. I went home put everything on the table and next day morning I woke up everything's gone. My family set the tart was okay they like the pineapple bun and the other pastry I ordered from the store. I give them four star for not using food coloring to make the egg tart looks more yellow. My mom love the curry pie and my father like the chicken pastry. Eating the egg tarts is more like a ritual, the childhood memories of the good time playing outside having a tart and a iced lemon tea. It was authentic Hong Kong style bakery you either like it or you don't. Most selection are more on the savory side if you want something really sweet go visit a Japanese bakery you won't be disappointed

Ordered adzuke mooncakes and coffee cashew cookies online last month in preparation for my bestie visiting, after seeing an ad on FaceBook. The tin they arrived in was gorgeous! Cookies had a creamy flavor I wasn't expecting and it took a lot of willpower not to eat them all! Not being privy to mooncakes, I wasn't sure what to expect. The filling was more dense than I thought it would be and boy were they HEAVY! But we finally got to eat them over the weekend and they are so delicious! Saved the website and planning on buying again next year! They even sent a nice bag with my purchase!

I came here to pick up a last minute bday cake. I'll just say that the cake here is nothing special. It was pretty dry when we ate it and leaves much to be desired. For a bakery, you would think they'd specialize in making moist delicious cakes! Ah well, the search continues!
