Sad looking shrimp rice rolls. Shrimps overcooked.

The service is good and the taste is quite in line with Cantonese tastes.

Nestled in its modest space, Mr. Champion invites patrons to savor the essence of Cantonese cuisine with a menu that may be succinct but is rich in authentic flavors. The small size of the restaurant doesn't hinder its service; on the contrary, the staff's attentiveness adds to the overall dining experience.During our visit, we sampled the BBQ pork rice roll and the fried rice noodle with shredded pork. The culinary magic unfolded as each bite revealed a symphony of flavors, highlighting the skillful use of the wok, resulting in that coveted wok hei essence. The dishes were not only delicious but also a testament to the restaurant's dedication to maintaining the true spirit of Cantonese cooking. The rice rolls, while undoubtedly tasty, did leave us wanting more due to their petite portions. However, the quality of the ingredients and the expert execution compensated for the size. It's worth noting that Mr. Champion is an excellent choice for those seeking an authentic Cantonese breakfast or lunch experience. The simplicity of the menu ensures a focus on quality, making it a haven for aficionados of comforting Cantonese cuisine.

This restaurant is essentially a HK style cafe. The rice noodle rolls are excellent though the toppings can use some work. Everything else is average and generally salty. Service here is friendly and everyone is attentive. The owner is very customer friendly and works the floor himself.

Below-average food served on paper plates with giant serving spoons given as eating utensils… Enough said. What I was hoping would be a nostalgic meal of comfort food ended up being the biggest disappointment of a dinner I’ve had in a long long time. First and last time coming here.

The food is hardly authentic. Wonton skin is soggy, orange chicken has too much starch, beef tripe too sweet. Can't believe this is a famous restaurant in Arcadia where great Chinese food are easily found

Ordered togo on the phone. Parking is super easy. Beef rice roll and shrimp rice rolls were okay, I personally dont think I'd go back and order that. But their beef chow fun, just wow. It's probably one of the tastiest I've tried (and I've tried a lot!). The flavor has soo much wok, and seasoned nicely - not too oily either. Would come back just to order this, and such a good price too!

Shrimp Rice Noodle 3/5 - sauce verged on being sweeter 3. Chinese Fried Donut 4/5 - not bad but smaller than the full size 4. Fish Porridge 4/5 - typical Asian comfort food 5. Beef Rice Noodle 5/5 - came on the paper plate but the flavors and quality was delicious

My boyfriend and I came to Mr. Champions for lunch and they were so busy I figure it should be good. Every table was taken and there were folks coming for togo pick ups. There was only 3 employees in the front, one staying at the cashier and 2 trying to take orders, serve food, and clear tables. It was a mess. It was a long wait, not because the patrons took too long, but because of the restaurants inefficiencies and an element of being understaffed. We had time to look at the menu while we were waiting so we were pretty much ready to order when we got seated. We shared their Beef Stew & Wonton Noodle Soup ($10.95) and a Pork & Preserved Egg Porridge ($8.50). For how busy this place is and how long we waited, I am not impressed. The beef was chewy and tough with a lot of fatty pieces. The wontons and the broth were pretty bland. I was surprised at the large pieces of pork they used in their porridge since typically the pork that comes in porridge is typically mince pork or shredded pork. Not a complaint but an observation. The porridge was pretty average. Considering how many other businesses serve the same dishes in this area, I don't intend to come back here to wait for long waits and mediocre food.

Small restaurant in a plaza with plenty of parking. Service was attentive and quick. We got our food fairly quick after ordering. The rice noodle dishes were great. The rice noodle is thin and didn't feel heavy at all. The toppings were great with the rice noodle. Wasn't too much or too little. The soy sauce with a little bit of sweet went perfectly. The other noodle dishes were ok. Nothing special. The wontons were good but the broth was a bit salty. The stir fry beef noodles were pretty good and not overly oily. The lo mein was slathered in beef stew gravy which I liked. Overall a good place for rice noodles. Other dishes were ok. Maybe I'll go back to try the congee. The charged extra for refilling the ice tea which was different. Most places they don't charge for refill or it's listed on the menu ahead of time if they do.
