This is a great place to get Hong Kong style dessert. If you have to get rice balls (tong Yuen” make sure you call ahead and allow some time. But this is my go to desert place as a net person from Hong Kong it’s excellent.

I can't believe I have not reviewed this Phoenix Food Boutique yet! We've been visiting this location for at least 10 years. Love all the comfort Cantonese dishes, desserts, and drinks. We also ordered many take-out during covid and they were all packaged nicely. With many options of plate rice, stir fry noodles, congee, soup noodles you cannot go wrong. On our recent visit we needed a late night dinner after coming home from a long flight. I got the Malaysian noodles which have fish balls, shrimps, and ground pork. You also have the option to pick the different noodles. The stir fry dishes such as tomato egg beef, honey walnut shrimps, and fish filet with black bean sauce is always on point. And you can't go wrong with their warm dessert soup such as red bean soup and coconut with black rice.

Fastest service i've EVER experienced. We ordered around 6 entrees and the first rice dish was out within 3 minutes. And the rest followed very quickly. The soy milk tasted super fresh and the desserts here are not too sweet. The mango sticky rice was barely sweet actually. Overall a great place that closes pretty late.

Delicious food. Have been going there for years! Nostalgic Arcadia memories hanging with friends

Very poor manners or no social skills from the workers here. Looks like they were students who don't care about customers, it's not their business. There's a lot of other food places that show gratitude. A restaurant cannot survive if it's not welcoming to the customer. It's very normal for Chinese to stare and say nothing, but businesses cannot act this way if they want to be successful. I don't think they were aware of themselves, but they need better training. The food is below average. I used to often go to Phoenix in Chinatown LA many years ago, especially after a Dodgers game. However, ever since Phoenix became a corporate-like chain, it has been horrible, especially with its workers. Do better or just go out of business for the benefit of other restaurants out there. Please.

Love, love, love the durian roll so much. But, I only got to buy these when I travel to LA area. The only complaint I have is not having the Boutique near me in the Bay Area. So, please open new one in the Bay Area. Great potential to be discovered here!

This place really went downhill, ordered a garlic shrimp fried rice and it's one of the worst I ever had! So bland and tasteless. I used to like the food here, so disappointed!

5/5! Food was great! A bang for your buck. Customer service was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance is super chill and casual. A great place for a quick meal. I would love to recommend the lettuce cups, sliced rib eye with korean bbq sauce, and the fried rice!

I honestly couldn't believe how good this was. I ordered late night tofu and veggies to my hotel after a concert since everything was closed. It was so good, I literally drank the sauce! I'm vegetarian and appreciate the fresh food while touring. Also got a cool tea for liver detox. Really authentic Chinese place.

Had to grab our own menus after waiting 10mins from being shown our seats.Staff ignored us in favor of mobile orders.Food is fine but it's same as any Phoenix franchise.

Typical Cantonese fast food restaurant. They do give you a large portion of food. They also have a lot of different deserts and drink which I like a lot. The food is actually very decent. Service is good.

Located in the same plaza as jj bakery. I like how spacious the parking spaces are but sometimes it could take a few minutes to find a spot. I usually come here to pick up food to go. I have not dined in here. Food is solid. I usually get an order or the congee and the stir fry beef noodles. Portions of the noodles are large. I usually ask them to use less salt and oil. Kudos to them for listening. I think they have the best porridge of all the Chinese restaurants that's I've been too. They have the signature cold chicken dish and I think they must use the bones from the chicken to make the broth and to use as a base for their porridge. So good. Love it whenever I'm under the weather. My favorite thing here is the mixed melon delight. I look forward to this whenever I come by. Not too sweet. Perfect contrasting texture of the watermelon, mango and honeydew.
