Although the place has been remodeled and everything looks new and beautiful the service has changed for the worst. No more waiters coming to the table, you have to look at the menu on the counter and place your order from the counter. The food is more like a snack bar hot dogs, hamburgers, and fries all served on to-go containers. Most likely won't return.

I would gIve this place a 4 based on food and the bartender. But I have to give the place a one stAr for the absolutely pathetic beer selection. They don't have a single local beer or good IPA. They have golden road only. Management needs to get theiR act together with the beEr.

This spot gives extraordinary service as well as tasty meals. My favourite spot in the city. The food and drinks came out fast and the prices were fair. I recommend this place.

Was really let down when I found out that This is the only course when hosting a kids scpga jr tournament that parents can't watch their kids play. The only course that doesn't allow spectators. It's quite pathetic that you pay 75 bucks for your kid to play and drive out to find out you can't watch. Need to change that rule. Scpga jr has spectators at everyone of their kids tournaments except a couple in new port and ANAHEIM and now here! It's 100 degrees outside and we can't even walk on course to take them water. At least do the kids a favor and allow us to take them water! Get your act together Santa Anita! Don't say you support kids when you don't let parents support their kids!!!

Went to a dinner here recently and the food was sub par. The banquet room is upstairs and there is a small elevator for those who don't want to brave the stairs. The menu was Mexican themed and a buffet with servers. Let's start with the salad - looked appetizing, looked like a Mexican Caesar salad with beans, and corn. The dressing was so spicy that most of us left it on our plate. Tortilla chips from a bag. Rice, didn't try, but asked for double beans, they gave me an extra tablespoon of beans, not a full scoop. Same with the chicken fajitas, I didn't want the shoe leather looking steak so asked for extra chicken. Again, my extra serving was a couple of pepper strips. Then the condiments, sour cream, shredded cheese and extra spicy pico de gallo. No guacamole? No salsa? Finally they had corn and flour tortillas, but the gal kept foisting flour on us. Dessert was a scoop of ice cream with whipped topping and a drizzle of chocolate syrup. Who puts syrup on top of whipped cream? Will decline further invitations that are held here. Not worth the money.

A small restaurant by the golf course mainly for those who just finished playing golf. The bar was full of people, but the restaurant area was very empty. Opt for the patio if it is sunny outside--it's a great view! Honestly, I wasn't very impressed with the food here. Presentation and food were very average. I ordered the huevos rancheros which was, for a lack of a better word, very average. The green salsa didn't add any flavor, and the rice and beans were pretty bland as well. The dish was located under the breakfast classics which said it included potatoes or hash browns but when I brought it up to the server, she denied it. I was pretty confused about that and she didn't want to hear out my explanation or look at the menu. I understand that a dish may be excluded, but she could have been more patient and she came with an attitude of, "I'm always right" which I was not pleased by. The spinach omelette was okay, but you did need to pair it with ketchup, and the side of hash browns needed to be seasoned just a tad more. I did enjoy the side of pancakes which were nice and fluffy, and very nice with the syrup. My favorite was the beef quesadilla by far, but it is hard to mess up cheese, beef, and tortillas. Overall, I noticed that the portions are slightly smaller than normal, but that was nice because it left you feeling just right. Food came very quickly, but don't expect anything amazing if you do end up eating here. It can be very good if you are starving after playing golf.

After early morning rains, we arrived to find the course in good shape. Not a lot of standing water and the greens were rolling well. The staff was courteous and the overall experience was challenging. If their was one flaw, our tee time was scheduled at 10:07 and didn't get off the first tee until 10:30. Other than that it was a good day.
