Shabu Lin in Arcadia offers a dining experience that falls short of its promise. Despite our anticipation for trying this restaurant, our visit on Chinese New Year's Eve left us underwhelmed. The lack of crowd did not compensate for the slow service. With a premium price of $39 per person, we expected a higher standard of quality, especially in terms of variety and freshness. However, the meat selection, though featuring good cuts like wagyu beef cap meat, was disappointingly scant. The buffet offerings, particularly the veggies and seafood, lacked quality and were not consistently replenished. Additionally, the fruit and cooked food options were nearly non-existent. Overall, the experience did not justify the cost, and we won't be returning to Shabu Lin in the future.

Great hotpot with good selection of food that you can order and pick from like buffet. The place is bright and clean. Staffs are friendly and responsive. This is now our favorite hotpot place. We will definitely come back again!

Pretty good hot pot place and it's away from the business of the Arcadia Mall. We went for lunch on a Friday so the lunch prices were awesome. If you've never been to a hot pot place this is how this one works. They seat you at your table and you have individual soup stations at your table. Pick your broth and pick your protein. I initially I thought you could only pick one protein but the waiter explained that you can order all of them on their list depending on lunch or dinner. Then head over to the buffet table of vegetables, noodles, all the items to toss in your broth. The steam rice and sauce station is also self serve.I ordered the miso broth and it was delicious.

Somehow I just like the name of this restaurant very much. It reminds me one of my stupid friend. Gotta visit some time in the future.

The service here is poor and the food is not fresh. After eating, when we got home, we found that our stomachs were very uncomfortable and we felt like vomiting. I regret tipping. I won't come to this place again next time, a bad area.

Service was excellent. The only thing we didn’t like was the girl that would come out to fix the tongs from the buffet bar every time someone would leave them on top of the food items. ?Seafood was covered in ice and melted water. Not very safe for handling. Might explain the “B” rating they have posted.Soup base was too salty (I ordered miso).Kids price was fair! Better than charging full price or half. Also, they said we couldn’t use Apple Pay for checks over $99 ?Good place overall

Craving for hot pot this is the closest from we are at neen here a few times now I know it's not too busy can get a table without having to wait long. Same lay out like shabuya a big area in the middle with different vegetable, seafood no blue crabs they have shrimp, clams, mussels and squid. They have limited sauces not much choices for meat as well. Place is clean they constantly refills the Buffett area and keep it clean. The broth they have , what can I say ordered pork bone I'm not sure if they know or they even try it so bland no flavor at all the quality of the meat is ok . Notice this me being here twice is that the wires under the table are sagging I think it's a safety issue or maybe it's just the table we are at. But again I was looking at other tables they are the same way all connected to the Switch where u can adjust your stove or something. They do close at 9:30pm we where there around 7:30pm was surprise around 8:30 they said last call for meat orders anyway it is what it is but again quick fix for dinner cravings . But probably drive further next time shabuya it is.

We usually get the Korean army soup base and the pork bone broth. We've also tried mala and house shrimp special which were also good. Service is always fast, friendly, and kind here. The meat comes out really fast and there are plenty of selections to choose from the self serve station. Lunch option doesn't have seafood selection from the self serve station. Space is open and clean, plenty of parking. They used to blast Kpop music during lunch which was so fun! But now the music is very slow, almost putting you to sleep which is fitting after you've pigged out on AYCE. Vibe is definitely more lively during dinner because of music choice.

This restaurant was clearly not busy when I visited. Some of the seafood was covered in ice, which is okay but oddly bizarre. Unsure how long it will survive

I actually really like this place, my only caveat is that they “close” at 9:30pm but does last call at 8:30pm. So in reality, they really close at 9pm. Small false advertising I guess, but other than that it’s pretty good.

This is my first all you can eat hot pot! And I'm very impressed. I get the impression this is more of a Korean run hotpot which was different than the a la cart Chinese ones I've been to. The cuts of meat were amazing. I'm partial to fattier cuts because it doesn't dry out as fast. I personally chose the Mala spicy and it wasn't too spicy for me. The dipping sauces were different than the ones I'm used to but still very good. Especially the home made chili sauce. The service was very nice and they were very attentive. This is the first time I've been to hot pot and they don't have hype music going on. Whenever I go to ayce, it's like rave/dubstep concert while I'm trying to eat. Parking is plenty and the sides are great.
