I ordered a large pork bulgogi but couldn't eat much because the pork had an unpleasant, overwhelming smell. They need to marinate their pork better to remove the bad odor.

Can't go wrong with this especially during the colder seasons.

"The worst food. A complete imitation of Korean cuisine, and the cashier was extremely rude." "I wonder if there are people who actually find this place tasty?" "The people running this place are definitely not Koreans."

The food was okay but the customer service was rude. The older Korean lady had a bad attitude when I asked for a Togo container. I would not return.

Like others on here, I'm not sure why this place is rated so low as I've been eating to-go here for a year now and it's been solid and consistent. Good flavors, quality veggies & ingredients. Recommend: pork bibimbap.

Ddukbboki was too spicy even from Koreans. No flavor except flaming hot

This place is deserving of a higher rating for its food quality and service. Despite the restaurant being in a food court of a market, food comes out hot and quick. I always come for the Beef Bibimbap and Spicy Rice Cakes. Each time, both are cooked to my liking. The rice cakes are just soft enough for me. I would skip on the dumplings because it was a bit too oily and skin was thick. Overall, great food option inside of H-Mart.

Food is decent but Why bother posting your phone number if no one ever picks up?? So frustrated.

Their kimchi jige is bomb... we always get it super spicy. Never disappoints. The galbi jim is great as always... for a grocery store food court this place really impresses... plus you don't have to tip. If you like Korean food and are doing some grocery shopping on an empty stomach, this place is great to stop by for dinner. There's a Sichuanese vendor a few feet down and a few other options but this one is my favorite by far.

Heard about this place from a friend in a crowd-sourced review service. One of the food options inside the H-Mart. Service was friendly and efficient. We ordered the spicy beef tofu soup, mild seafood tofu soup, and beef bulgogi. Food is made to order and came out piping hot, and fresh. All items tasted good. I love soup and beef bulgogi but honestly I have had better. 3.5 stars, rounded off to 3. Parking was adequate but can be a problemDuring high traffic times.

Sogongdong Tufu & BBQ is located in the Hmart's food court. I actually have not tried this place before, but I was eager to as I was hungry after grocery shopping. The pictures on the menu convinced me to give this place a chance. The customer service was actually decent and efficient. Some previous Yelp ratings mentioned how the workers were rude and gave poor customer service, but I did not find them rude at all. As for the food, I ordered A4: Bibimbap hot stone bowl with bulgogi. The pricing was a bit higher than I liked. The size of the actual hot stone plate was huge and very hot! It was a good presentation of the meal. The bulgogi was tender, but I felt it could have been marinated/seasoned more. The flavoring was acceptable, but there is potential to improve. I also wished there was more bulgogi meat than what was served. Majority of what made up the meal was from the surrounding vegetables and rice. The egg was perfect. The dish came with small sides which I enjoyed. I recommend stirring the rice otherwise it'll overcook the rice at the bottom making it really extra crispy. I actually haven't read the Yelp reviews until after I ordered, and I was shocked at the low ratings! I would say the food, pricing, and experience deserves at least 3/5 stars.

This place is in the food court in Hmart. The service was pretty fast and the food was really yummy.I got the seafood/beef Soondooboo combo with short ribs. The short ribs were so yummyyy. It was expensive at 23 dollars but it was definitely filling. I would definitely get it again. I probably would not get the combo all the time because it pretty expensive and the soup alone cost under 11. So you are paying 12 dollars for 6 small short ribs but they were so flavorful. There free small water cups at hmart but they are tiny so you constantly have to go back to refill.

Very very unkind The taste of food is normal. Especially the cashier is unkind.

Surprised by rating and reviews here. We went in hungry after an hour of shopping. Ordered bibimbap pork and seafood pancake late right before they were closing. Both were tasty and hot. May be came in on a good day.
