The banner outside of h mart lures me in everytime! But everytime I eat it, I know it's not that good. Their toast is a little (scratch "a little") on the dry side. Their hot dog is a little bland, so the sugar overpoweres the flavor. The batter is also not airy. The drink is just sugary. Granted, there isn't much place that sells Korean Street toast and Korean hot dog and yuzu drink! So they got that advantage. The picture in front of h mart definitely helps the business (I think). Everytime I pass it, I wanna go there because the pictures look so good! Everytime I eat it, I wonder why I did because I know I could've just gotten better product somewhere else! Fell for marketing. But it's so convenient to get some snack there after shopping.

First time trying Korean corn dog and I loved it. I was skeptical but the potato corn dog was so good! Get it with sugar! Hot, juicy and crispy, savory and sweet. Sandwich was ok but not as good as the corn dog.

One of 5 food stands located in HMart. I ordered their chicken toast, bulgolgi beef toast, and Potato hot dog. It is best to eat the toast ASAP, because the bread will get soaked fast, but it tastes really good, especially the beef. The hot dog is amazing, probably one of the better ones out there. However, it would be nice to have more hot dog varieties though. Staff is fast and friendly.

Greasy crispy potatoe corn dog is the best one (no sugar). Theyll ask if you want ketchup mustard or sugar drizzle. Still recommend trying a sugar one too to taste an orginial.

After giving both Toast Luck and Chung Chun a try, I'd say I prefer Toast Luck. I tried the potato hot dog and the cheese and sausage hot dog, with and without sugar. Both Toast Luck and Chung Chun recommend getting the hot dogs with sugar, but I actually prefer it without the sugar because I don't think savory and sweet go all that well together. It can be hard to notice the difference between the two places' hot dogs, but I feel like Toast Luck's hot dogs have a crispier batter that is also thinner than Chung Chun's. The sausage at Toast Luck also tastes slightly better in my opinion. The cheese in Chung Chun's hot dog has better cheese pull though. Chung Chun allows you to add your own sauces while Toast Luck adds it on for you; I actually prefer the latter because it makes the hot dogs look better and you get an even amount of sauce with each bite. Prices are comparable, but Toast Luck costs a little bit more. I didn't really like the potato hot dog, the batter was too thick and the potato tasted plain, so I'm sticking with cheese and sausage. I had to wait awhile for the hot dogs to be made at both Chung Chun and Toast Luck, so no difference in wait time.

$6 for a cheese sausage corn dog and yuzu-ade. The corn dog was breaded and crispy. I enjoyed the nice crunch of the breading and the soft layer of bread that the batter had turned into after being fried. Definitely a lot of mozzarella in the corn dog. The sausage used was nice and juicy with a bite. The yuzu-ade had a spoonful of yuzu tea from a jar and some soda water.

KOREAN HOT DOG, POTATO CORN DOG Price: $1.99, $3.49 Rating: OMG, I LOVE their corn dogs!! The outside was super crispy and the inside was super juicy and savory! I love that the batter was a little bit chewy, similar to a mochi texture. The potato hot dog came with small bits of pieces of french fries on the outside and was very crunchy and crispy. They also serve toast with chicken and Bulgogi beef and fries. The service was amazing!! It's inside H mart. Parking is shared in a plaza.

$3.49 potato hot dog is the best item our of the 3 options. Crispy potatoes outside is like eating a fun haha brown/tater tots corn dog. Located inside H Mart food court area. Takes credit card. Takes a couple minutes to make, not quick.

This place is located inside HMART. My first impression coming in was that it had a very small menu (big plus since it's easier for me to choose) My visit was only to try these famous Korean corn dogs that have been so popular so this review won't touch on any of their toast items. My girlfriend and I got all 3 of the dogs on their menu. (Korean hot dog, potato dog, cheese & sausage dog) The texture and crisp on the breading was very nice and the sugar coating made it have a nice sweet flavor. My favorites were the potato dog and the cheese & sausage dog. Not discrediting or taking away from the Korean hot dog tho, just my opinion on what's very tasty! Pros: Easy parking Water dispenser (bring hydro flask to avoid plastic waste) Large seating area Cons: Nothing much besides their Tiny Styrofoam cups

I've been hearing this place for a while now, but finally recently tried it. This place is located in the food cart of H-Mart. The great thing about this place is there is absolutely no line compared to Myungryang. The wait for our corn dogs was pretty fast - 10 minutes since they are freshly fried. However, the food was alright. They said the best one is the potato corn dog and I can't agree more. My sister and I ordered all 3 to try. Our next favorite was the original corn dog. The cheese & sausage was our least favorite. There was little to no cheese pull and made the corn dog seem empty. The sausage was also very tiny. Given the short wait and convenience, I'd return if I am ever craving Korean corn dogs.

Ever since they been open they have been the talk of the H-Town due to their korean hot dogs. Like the other korean dog spots, Toast Luck is also a chain whose dipping their batter over seas. They may not have the variety of Chungchun Rice Hotdogs or the topping selections of Myungrang Hot Dog but they make up for it in in sandwiches. Many would come for the corn dogs, they are quite delicious, but if you had them at the others they're pretty similar with only a slight difference. The real tip here is to get the logo, their toast sandwiches are amazing and quite the deal. They have four different sandwiches and starting at $7 they only leave your wallet empty, not your stomach. They don't have the expansive menu like they do in Korea but these four offerings will cater to the American palate better. I got their chicken toast, it's like a chicken tenders sandwich, I really enjoyed the toast and whatever sauce they put it I can't get enough of it. Toast Luck may have a small menu but they're big on taste and fair prices will see me coming back for more.

This place is located inside the H-Mart of Arcadia. I got the Potato Hot Dog and Korean Hot Dog. Potato Hot Dog $3.49 and Korean Hot Dog $1.99. Fried, rolled in sugar, and coated in ketchup. Very good taste and very delicious ! Definitely will try other items next time !

I've been hearing about the hype around korean corn dogs/hot dogs so I finally stopped by the new H-Mart in Arcadia to try it! I ended up only trying the original corn dog and their bugolgi toast. OG corn dog ($1.99): not bad, the dough is very chewy, almost like a mochi texture so I wasn't really used to it. I'm a bigger fan of the american dough for corn dogs but that's just me! Bugolgi toast ($7.99): this was interesting and I think overall, I'm a fan. For $7.99, you get the toast sandwich and a side of fries, which IMO is not a bad deal. For people who don't like to get beverages when dining out but still wants the sides, this is an awesome combo! Plenty of seating, friendly employees; I will definitely be back to try their other corn dogs, especially the potato one. Everyone seems to be raving about that!

We wanted a little afternoon snack and decided to check out this place. I've heard a lot of hype about Korean corn dogs so I definitely wanted to try it out myself. We ordered the potato hot dog and the cheese & sausage hot dog. Wait for the food was not very long--maybe 5ish minutes or so? They call you up and you can decide whether you want the ketchup, mustard, and/or sugar toppings. The corn dogs were pretty good but definitely not on the light side! They are very filling because of all the batter around it (not typical corn dog batter...it's more chewy). I liked the cheese and sausage corn dog better because of all the gooey cheese. Overall, these were pretty good and satisfied our craving for an afternoon snack. Next time we're at H Mart we'll probably try their sandwiches.
